Ware had a bad night made worse by Arrbide having a bad night
Ware looked good against DBU last week.
We need to find consistency. we have 1 more week to do that.

One thing that affects a pitcher’s confidence is the catcher.

It’s looking like the 5 games a week is making this team mentally tired.
Or this is just the yearly LSU pitching staff is actually overrated after being touted as deep and great yet again

People overreacted to a good week or two, now you’re overreacting to a bad 4-game stretch. Let’s see how it plays out over a larger sample size.

Nope we all must panic

A bad 4-game stretch where we won all 4 games I might add

Pointing out deficiencies or areas that need be improved upon, on a message board thats there to discuss the team isn't a panic. Cant nobody post anything without half you jackasses going 0 to 100. We haven't pitched well in multiple situations this year. Its ok to point that out. Nobody thinks this is a bad pitching staff.

Since last weekend the pitching staff has been giving up too many free bases. No one is ignoring that and you can be concerned. But Jay is still tinkering with the staff trying to find the guys who are going to be consistent. That is what you do early in the season so that we don't have these issues late in the season. Just enjoy the season and lets see where the staff is at in a month.

And whenever I'm pointing out that you are a dumbass, here's an example of why.

Walks are contagious. Really, everything is contagious in sports. When nobody could miss the strike zone to begin the year, everyone was feeding off of each other. The reverse now appears to be happening. They definitely need to get it together, because the stuff is off the charts.
It does not help, at all, that our catchers have not demonstrated that they can be trusted to block a ball in the dirt, and at times even catch the ball near the strike zone. That has to play into the mental side of it, to some degree, for our pitchers.
Catching is a bigger concern for me than walks, right now, because every time someone gets on base, it feels like they're automatically in scoring position, with all these dropped balls, and poor blocking. Sometimes the pitch is just wild, but it shouldn't be that nearly every pitch in the dirt goes to the backstop.

And we also pitched great to open the season, the same guys mostly. We need more data before pressing the panic button on pitching. Lets at least get to conference play before we decide no one can throw strikes. Yes everyone who follows baseball knows we've struggled in 4 of the last 5 games with free passes.
Some of you have to understand early in the season is Jay's time to mess around to figure out what he has. He will leave a struggling pitcher out there for a lot longer than he would otherwise (in conference play) to see what they've got. Thats what happened exactly with Eyanson last weekend. He struggled a ton the first 3 innings then threw 3 near perfect innings after.

FYI this happens every year.
Then we underestimate the staff as a whole as the season progresses.
Then the staff develops during the season and we make a run or it doesn’t.

And a team is certainly not allowed to have a bad game. The baseball team should go undefeated this year, right?
