It’s like the “S” in the acronym stands for socialism.

Next to closing the border, killing USAID is Trump's most important achievement.

Also...

With the midterms less than a dozen weeks away, the Republican National Committee continues to boast a massive cash advantage over its Democratic counterpart, according to Federal Election Commission disclosures made by both committees on Wednesday.

The filings, which cover the month of July, show that the Democratic National Committee had about $16 million of cash on hand at the end of the month compared with the Republican National Committee’s $130 million in cash.

The DNC also has $17.9 million in debts, though the committee has reduced its debts by roughly 3 percent from the $18.5 million in debts and obligations owed at the end of June.

He was quick about it too. They obviously did not expect that move.

USAID gone - and 7 for 7 in overturning leftist governments in Central/South America with Bolsonaro leading going for the runoff which would make 8 for 8 - be pissed off - but the world as bad as it is is going the right way. The tide is turning - GET OUT AND VOTE REPUBLICAN TO KEEP IT MOVING!

While this is wonderful news, it does leave a bitter taste once realizing that our tax dollars were being used for this. How did that go unchecked for so long? And now that we know, someone needs to be strung up. Not arrested, tried, and set free. Summary hanging!

Though USAID cuts did not cause Bukele's election, what a remarkable job he has done.

I 100% believe socialism was being propped up and supported by USAID/CIA throughout South America.

I just don’t understand why?

My best guess is that the CIA needs conflict so they can continue to see their budget grow???

These people are sick to constantly cause so much division in the world.

Most of the money goes to super PACs now. The dems have a lot of money there, but gop dwarfs them there as well.

Elon kicked over the hornets nest on his first attempt.

Imagine if they had known it was coming and had time to hide lie and tangle everything up with activist federal judges.

Took them by surprise but other departments have learned how to fight back so it's getting harder.

But damn he nailed it.

I don't know that I wouldn't put it #1.

The border will be opened wide again on day 1 of the next Democratic POTUS.

Rebooting USAID would be a much bigger undertaking.

Django,

I had a friend down here who worked for "the company" may he RIP. We would be drinking and he would say back in 20xx when I was in such and such.

I said to him, you know every time you bring up a story there is some shat going on there, you ever think you are causing it not preventing it?

It is both the defunding of USAID and the "Javier Milei effect". Most of these South American right wing candidates were leading in the polls before USAID was cut. Seema Shah nails it the article below.

The irony of course is that the socialists/communist have always said that the reason it didn't work in South America is because the US was working against those countries. Now we find out the only reason they existed was because of our help!

Yep, the old strategy of getting paid to cause the problem and getting paid to solve it. What's scary now is we have huge funds offering great returns for investors based upon the activity.
