I realize we had to play a really great game last year to win that one but I also think our team is much better now. Are we forgetting our DBs weren’t all pro last year?

I'd gladly take Mehki Garner and Jarrick Bernard-Converse right now.

This game has absolutely zero in common with that game. Our DBs weren’t necessarily all pro, but bama also had issues with their WRs getting separation last year. We also lost JBC who forced the only turnover. We were also in mid season form, not in game 1.

Just truly nothing in common lol.

No. And I really don’t think LSU has to play a “Bama level” game to beat FSU. The WORST game I’ve seen LSU play in a very long time was last years FSU game…and we almost won. I really believe the Florida State crowd will be very surprised come Sunday.

Really enjoyed watching him last year. Would feel so much better if he was back.

If you read what the FSU folks are putting out there their team is a mix between the 2019 Tigers, 1995 Nebraska and 1981 Miami.

We should feel honored just to be on the same field as them.

2022 Alabama was one of the most talented teams in the nation from a roster perspective. They didn't have good WR play and Bill OB sucked. They also just didn't seem to have the classic Bama attitude. But Talent was not their issue last year.

Better edge rusher? No. Better QB? No. Better Coach? No. Better WRs? Yes. Better RB? No. Better team? No.

You go blind before Tennessee and Texas A&M?

Where is the love for this FSU team coming from? I honestly don’t understand it.

People having them in the CFP is mind blowing to me.

At this time last year, I was scared to death we were looking at a possible repeat of '20 and '21 in the secondary. I don't think anyone thought they would be as good as they were and it was the biggest position concern going into last season. Its because of that performance that I trust in House to get Alexander and Chestnut along with Harris and Welch to their level or better with the added depth.

This.. Other than the very few long passes/trick most their TD's came from shitty special teams.. I mean we were ranked 130 out of 131 FBS teams(out of efficiency) and we were averaging 3 yards per punt return compared to the 10 the previous year. Florida barely got away. I think we are going to blow them out.. Given our ST is locked up air tight.
