Was that before or after his pick? Lol
I do think he has lost a step but plenty experience and savvy to last another year or two in the league.

he did look a tad slow yesterday, may be time to call it quits as a player.

Looked like he retired between the 25 yard line and the end zone today.

Wait…..you really think an offensive lineman caught the Honey Badger from behind? He was trying to get tackled and run out the clock

One of the dumbest statements I've read on here.

You sure missed the mark on that one! I was obvious he was running the clock out and not scoring.

What makes you all think he’d be a good coach?
Nobody said he would. But if you've been paying attention you'd know that past actions/comments from him infer that he's interested in being involved with LSU football in some form when he retires.

Coaching would be a natural assumption, but it's not given.

Last I heard, Corey Raymond (don’t know how he spells it) is unemployed.

He’s still playing in the NFL. Once he’s done in the NFL he will have a career as LSU DBs coach, and he’ll be elite there

Agreed. But idk what he is waiting for. Been in the league a decade now. Gotta Super Bowl ring and lots of $ I’m sure. Not the like the saints are winning anything anytime soon.

Didn't Patrick Peterson have to be his keeper at Arizona? He had a troubled past at LSU as well. Sometimes those are the best teachers as they have made many mistakes that they can use to motivate young players to not make. That being said, I'd go with analyst first and see how he works with the kids and game plans for Saturdays. If he shows promise, then move him up at some point.

I could see him thriving as a "player management" analyst, along with possibly working with the DB's. It would certainly be a first to have him riding herd on the young bulls, speaking from a position of both experience and thriving after adversity.

If 8-4 had had such a person, they might have kept that #1 class under control instead of turning it into the wild west cancer-a-thon.

That unnecessarily and greatly increases the risk of a fumble.

Tyrann is a good football player. A good coach is something altogether different. Let’s flip your thinking. Why didn’t the Saints put pads on Joe Brady when he was showing to be such a good young coach?

Joe Brady never said he wanted to be a player. HB has stated on several occasions that after playing, he wants to be on the coaching staff at LSU. The HB takes what he wants.

Might as well ask if there's a spot for Jayden on the offensive staff...

A lot of what he does is instinctive. That doesn't necessarily translate to being a good coach.
