I’m not surprised. I started going to games at 2 yrs old. My parents went to all of them, but we weren’t allowed to go to LSU. They finally found a LA trooper to escort us, spend the day w/us & drive us back to the state line. It was the only way they would let us go.

Yes. It's called the rant.

We sit over the visiting fans and the ONLY thing thrown that far down on the field after the game was bracelets from their OWN fans in the furthest south section of the EAST UPPERS.
In fact we walked down and ON to the field passing their cheerleaders in the process. NOTHING was being thrown on them. That had to be for a few seconds at most when the bracelets were flying right at the end.

We sit right by the tunnel and I just knew I was about to be tossed but I guess the security guard didnt see it; no doubt that landed on some poor Ole Miss fan.
Not my proudest moment by any stretch .
That was YOU? That motherfricker went FAR and right down on them.

we sit about 1-2 sections to your left and EVERYONE was looking around like WHO THE frick did that?
That doesn't happen very often AT ALL in the 400s. BAD BOY!

That is a bit of an over exaggeration.

Funny, their fans actually have a tradition of doing this at their baseball games.

I have no sympathy for Ole Miss fans. They are as pretentious as they come.
You shot, you lost. I mean, we'd have paid you if you'd won, but you lost. Now take your big arse home, and brush that tooth!

And how much solace does it give us that they are going to be reeling for seasons after this one given they are losing 40 players and every single player of impact after this season with recruiting in the shitter

They just love to push the "LSU fans are trash and we're class" narrative
I mean...I did see a WHOLE LOT of trashy LSU fans walking all over campus. I'm not sure that any of them actually went into the game, but I was pretty embarrassed by a lot of what I saw walking around, especially on Highland Road a little south of the Union.

Why are their cheerleaders still on the field. There are already a lot of LSU fans on the field in that picture. So there was plenty of time for them to get off the field. This was not a field storm, it was a field sprinkle. It took a while for the field to get full of fans.
Shame on Ole Miss for putting their cheerleaders in harms way.

Ole Miss has a history of this behavior (tossing things on the field)...back in the early 2000's they had to actually stop a few games and implore fans to stop tossing stuff on the field ...a cameraman for CBS was hit in the head and had to be taken out and then I believe coach O and Nutt also had to come out to face the south endzone fans.

If you've sat anywhere near the Ole Miss student section in Oxford, you've been pelted with ice and various liquids. It's also a given that you are going to get cussed by several drunken frat nerds throughout the day.
Of course they also have the public address guy with that annoying, "First Down, Ole Miss!".
I don't recall which year it was...heck it was probably 8 to 10 years ago, but LSU was destroying the Rebs, and their fans were thinning out. Each time LSU would make a stop (and there were many), most of our section would chant, "FOURTH Down, Ole PISS !!".
The drinks, cuss words and middle fingers were raining down on us. It was glorious!!

A few years back, they were playing Alabama in Oxford, and the Ole Miss student section was throwing so many things on the field, they had to halt play and clean up the field.
Al of a sudden, a girl threw her high heel shoe on the field (or maybe her date threw it. Or maybe her brother. Being that it's Ole Miss, they could be one and the same).
Of course Tennessee one-upped them with the mustard bottle and the golf ball. Ole Miss can't even win that contest.

All the Ole Miss fans I talked to after the game said they had a great time.
I didn't see any of them being harassed while we walked back to our tailgate. Most people were celebrating the win and ignoring the Rebel fans

Lol, I understand that some people lose themselves in the moment, but tossing my beer is something I have never thought to do.
