Is there a better duo than Ben McDonald and Lyn Rollins?

It’s been said ad nauseam over the years, but man they make watching games 10x what they are. It’s always fun watching Tiger baseball, but I could listen to those guys do a straight up podcast if they’d be willing.
After having a binge of college baseball today, by far the most easy to listen to, they’re knowledgeable, and at the end of the day they’re just two old baws getting paid to watch and talk ball. Glad they’re doing it in our colors

I find them to be very entertaining. Lyn’s old man phrases are endearing and Ben is just a good ole baw that seems like a guy you’d like to have a beer with.
Might be a bit of nostalgia for me but I used to love rewatching the LSU football games on the CST replays. I remember how much I’d look forward to replaying the games and hearing Lyn belt out the “Touchdown LSU, Touchdown *insert player name.”
Such simpler times.

Ben is the best at college baseball hands down
David Dellucci is solid also
Lyn does great but can be a little too much with his analogies

Granted I’m not as interested watching if it’s not lsu.. but intried to watch Arkansas this morning and it was so f’ing boring. Ben and Lyn make jokes, tell stories etc

Len reminds me of my late Great Uncle named Lester..... most of the time he was talking about stuff you really didn't care about, but you still listened, because every now and then he said something truely funny.
Ben knows so much baseball and he doesn't make the mistake of talking too much to show you how much he knows.
I enjoy listening to them both.

Nope. Ben can lay the early life stories on a little too thick sometimes but he's solid.
Rollins is a national treasure. You can say he's cheesy or hokey or whatever but as someone who watches/listens to a TON of baseball at all levels, you don't get much better than Lyn Rollins.
