Idk, but the mass exodus they're seeing in the portal is pretty insane. Several major contributors leaving.

Yes. The last 5 seasons they have one title and that was in a COVID year which doesn’t really count.

Now compare that with the previous 5 years

Yep

The days of their consistent dominance is in decline based on the results from past 5 years

Yes, with NIL and the transfer portal, Nick no longer has the advantage he used to have. That's why he left the NFL.

20+ players transferred out after last season.

Of the guys in the portal now there are:

4 WRs. Only one (Holden) had more than 20 receptions this season.

Trey Sanders has 14 carries last season

There are no big defensive players of note in the portal right now.

The OL depth seems to be the biggest area hurt. But I think many Alabama fans would say their OL wasn't great this year anyway.

Point being, I wouldn't start dancing on their grave just yet.

Bama needs a humbling season to weed out the bandwagoners.

9-3 is a solid season. But after over 10 years of rubbing grease on their running backs, the fans are spoiled

We can hope, but this is said every year Bama doesn't win a national title, and it's yet to actually happen. Saban is getting old so maybe it's real yhis time, but I'm not counting on it.

Does is really matter? Bama has won natty's with much worse QB's.
