If not I’m all for getting the frick out. If that bitch Sankey keeps wanting a pound of flesh for zero violations I say we go full media blitz against them. They are in the wrong and making it personal.

I have a hard time believing that this move was made without communication with the SEC. Otherwise it's super weak on LSU's part. Either stand up for what you believe in or don't. Didn't help that Rousse inexplicably voted for the rule and not the punishments.

It should be because that seemed to be the basis for the SECs case.
Now that LSU has demonstrated compliance with league rules, it doesn’t make sense to keep it going. Especially as there is a decent chance the court ruling doesnt go in favor of the SEC
Not dropping the matter seems petty and a waste of the court’s time.
But seems like that is the route the SEC is taking

I didn't say a rule was broken. I said Rousse (allegedly) voted for the rule. Hard to have standing in court when your own school president voted for the restriction that the players are fighting.

Based on what?
I do not have problem with the SEC governing itself
I don’t have a problem with the SEC being able evict members in certain circumstances.
But there has to be good reason and real legal justification for any punishments and evictions
And if LSU hasn’t broken any rules, there is no justification for any punishment. Especially given that LSU complied.

How can you stop a player from fighting? How do you suggest LSU step in in such a capacity to prevent players from fighting in court? It wasn’t just those two guys in the suit.
