Slow down there turbo. There’s not going to be many like Chase. Nabers just needs to be the best Nabers he can be and everything will be fine. He’s supremely talented.

I’m trying to think of what relevant single season records Josh Reed still has

You realize both catches & yards went down in 2019, right?

More like Carlos Carson!

Carlos Carson played in the NFL for 10 years and was a 2 time Pro Bowl player. Carson was selected for the Kansas City Chiefs Hall Of Fame in 2017.

Let’s let Malik Nabors be Malik Nabors.

Not Chase level, but Boutte is a first team All-American despite only playing 1.5 seasons.

Boutte is absolutely Chase level. He has to prove it for a whole season, but he’s possibly #1 in CFB for a reason. His stats are insane too, and he’s only been able to play for piss poor teams.

Boutte and Chase are not very similar. Boutte is far more elusive, and Chase is far more powerful. Both are fast as heck, though.

You didn’t know chase was that good before his sophomore year

Actually it was easy to see. Our moron coaches would just take him out after everytime he made a play his freshman season.

You can't really say that about any wide receiver. There are so many great ones from all over that it's really hard to say who's better than the next. I understand your homerism has blinded you a tad though

I hate shite like this. I saw a guy on Twitter saying Daniels could be the next Burrow. His only reasoning is because the are both quarterback that transferred to LSU.

Our Moron Coaches went 25-3 when Chase was playing. They won a Fiesta Bowl and finished #6 in 2018 & went 15-0 and won the SEC and the National Championship in 2019.

It’s like some of you dumbasses just run your mouths and have amnesia.

Catches went down, Josh still has yards. The season totals they show for him don’t include the Sugar Bowl (14 catches, 239 yards).

So he’s still got yardage by like 200 or so yards.

Going into the draft last year, I had Chase as the best receiver coming out of college since Calvin Johnson.

Very doubtful Nabors reaches that level. That’s quite a mountain he woukd have to climb.

This is simple. NOPE ......A receiver with a last name CHASE..its all his opponents did was try and chase him down to only get burned.

Nope.

You'll mostly see Reed listed with 1740 yards in 2001, which is his total through the SECCG. Here's the game log to get to that number. The Sugar Bowl isn't there, which pushes it to 1979.

Chase has 1780, which includes all 14 games he played in 2019.

It's a quirk of CFB, they didn't start including bowl stats in season totals until 2002.
