Jefferson had his failings but lack of confidence and swagger were not amongst them.

Warren Rabb who was also in the stadium. He also started on defense. He also won a national championship.

Include Herb Tyler in this group. Most probably the most underrated QB from LSU.

I’m not talking about being comfortable. I’m talking about swagger. I’ve been around for a while. I watched since the early 80’s, and I remember tough QB’s, talented QB’s, and sucky QB’s, but I don’t remember a lot of Joe Namath types who have that rock star flair. With Burrow it’s understated, but it’s there. I haven’t seen that a whole lot at LSU.

Lee was overconfident.
dude thought he was Brett Favre. that what led to all those picks in ‘08.

True then it seemed his confidence was shot every time he faced Bama.

He definitely has ice in his veins, and can make some great decisions. A defense may make his numbers look average, but they aren't going to force him to make a colossal mistake.

Pump the damn brakes son!

If you ever saw the pic of M Flynn's face when he threw the game winning td to Byrd to beat auburn you would know that moment was the epitome of confidence.

The other pic (of confidence) I think about is just before the Oklahoma (edited)championship game there is a pic of Saban sitting between two of our offensive linemen on a bench. The three of them are looking at the Ohio team and have this smirk of confidence that was awesome. The pic was in the Monroe newspaper...still have it, but its not really reproducable.

Gotta helluva lot of swag, dude can flat out play. The kind of qb I hoped LSU could have for the last few years.

His performance last night reminded me of Matt Flynn. Poised and accurate with the ball, and not afraid to pull it down and make plays with his feet. Probably the best all-around qb performance I have seen from LSU over the last 3-4 seasons.
