Simply:

Staters? Yes.

Bullpen? Yes.

Lineup, no.

Depth is part of the lineup, and that is clearly lacking.

Better record than last year with less pitching talent....

Yes. Think if this team atleast had Marceaux......

Tell us your winning lineup with what we have, coach. Sounds like you got all the answers.

Agreed. Bullpen depth is also an issue, but I didn’t want to expand.

The lineup was good when Johnson took over. Great-ish with Berry.

The rest of the roster is lacking, and that’s with 4-5 good bullpen arms. 2 of which Johnson brought in.

No need to get butthurt. Mainieri and his staff left a good lineup. No depth, as Project pointed out, but a good set of 9.

Yeah this team with Marceaux and a healthy Jaden Hill would be nice. For what arm talent we have Jay Johnson and his coaching staff have done well in my eyes.I think we will see by year 3 what kind of program we have once it’s all his players

Blaming a 1st year coach is a special kind of stupid. Give the man a chance.

Schlossnagle inherited a 9-21 SEC program and they are 2 seed in SEC tournament and a lock to host a regional 1 year later. Maybe just maybe it’s not the previous coaches fault??

Ok. So what’s Johnson doing wrong?

Over his last 3-4 seasons, I would agree and that's reflected in a .500 SEC record.

But let's not pretend he left the cupboard bare.

FTR, this team isn't defined by an SECT loss. Need to get Berry and Cade healthy and Dugas back to 100%.

Looking forward to the post season.
