JD hit him with a game changing TD pass against FSU and he wasn’t looking. On top of that, he doesn’t come down with another game changing grab in end zone.

Also had two drops in the game that people seem to have conveniently forgot about since the ire has turned from Boutte to Daniels. It’s been a wild three games lol.

Even when he’s targeted he hasn’t been getting much separation

Something is just off

it's not possible, its probable this is the case and dude has no reason to throw his body on the line every week in his money year, he has more of a reason to sit out than Stingley

Well if that’s the case I wish he would be more concerned about us winning games then how many touches he gets. It’s not that hard to give 100% effort every play especially at WR.

boutte has clearly been targetted by the defenses as someone that has to be stopped

Clearly this and quite possible he’s not where he used to be and does not have great connection with JD.

All three of those things combined=lesser production

He has had the most targets of any reciever on the team. But it is true that he is the primary concern of the defenses we have faced.

Yeah that could possibly be PART of the reason. He didnt practice in the spring. That really did hurt him... I also think that is part of the reason there was smoke coming out that Kayshon wanted Nuss to start. He had played with Nuss before and practiced with him. Plus, I know people do not like to hear this but Nuss pads Kayshon's stats big time. I think he sees with a running quarterback that will not happen as much. So basically you have a stat padder that will make mistakes and cost you a game or two or someone who doesnt pad stats but gives you a better chance to win...

Between being targeted by defenses and less than a year from a very serious injury, I haven't had any concerns about his lack of production being an attitude/lack of effort problem.

Boutte looks fine to me, it's the lack of rapport with Daniels that seems to be the issue. Daniels looked to be making great improvement over his first three games. I saw his eyes down field much longer before running, this week.

I think he has a lot of work to do with the playbook, because he's not seeing WRs coming open early enough, which leads to what we're seeing with Boutte. The interesting thing to me, is if the OLine develops, and Daniels gets more time, will teams begin to swap focus to Nabers instead. It was clear that when Nabers needed to make plays, he was completely unstoppable.

So if the focus swaps to him, we're gonna see some serious numbers put up by Boutte vs single coverage.

That’s a gross exaggeration.

Yes Daniels tucks it and runs too often, but that doesn’t mean he is always wrong when he runs. Often it’s the right play.

And often he throws the ball. And often he completes those passes

So no our WRs aren’t wide open MOST of the time. And Daniels isn’t ignoring them most of the time.

I agree... just don't see the speed to get that elite separation.. His ankle injury was a major injury requiring multiple surgeries. Had that...and for mine it was a lot longer than a year before I could do what I did before. Some injuries just take a lot longer to get right from. Let's hope a month or so from now he has worked out the kinks and Ole Miss and Bama see it.

I'm not sure Daniels has the big gun to get him the ball where he needs it. Downfield. I'm sure Boutte has to be frustrated but just off his previous film he will still go early in the NFL draft. I know we're all pulling for KB.

Agree… not 100% game ready physically and he looks to be much bigger and not as fast as a year ago again relating to his season ending injury from last year..
