Yeah I was expecting him to be caught from behind on that long run but he made it all the way. Didn’t see that happen last year

He definitely gave a little hesitation then hit another gear as he got to the sideline and blew by that one defender.

IMO his superior shifting and cutting ability has made tacklers hesitate - slow down cautiously as they approach him. Thus giving the appearance he is faster than he actually is. He has this annoying ability to leave tacklers grasping for air (now you see him........now you don't). That signature "spin-move" is a beautiful thing to behold. Amazing cat-like reflexes.

Arkansas is slow. Not taking anything away from the fact that this man had over 180 yards on SIX carries.

He’s hitting the hole faster. Earlier in the year he was too patient and danced around too much. You can see a marked difference the last half of the year.

Well, the idiots were right. Clyde is on the slow side for a running back. So was Hilliard, but it didn’t stop him from being one of the best in LSU history. If Clyde was fast he’d be as good as Barry Sanders.

I think it was more Clyde exposing that Arkansas doesn't have a lot of team speed.

He is confident, hitting the weights and is stronger, and has put moves (Jukes, spins, hesitations, etc.) and he is freezing the defenders and getting a bit more space to run. However, the biggest thing is that dudes HEART is BIG! What he did to Bama carrying defenders was amazing
