So he had 104 less total yards from scrimmage in 3 less games.
We played 12 games
They played 15

To bad you included the comment about his Tiger career, cause the question is overshadowed with the shortsighted, uninformed info.
As for your question, afraid it looks that way. Never more exemplified than with his 95 yard TD yesterday.
LF’s ankle injuries started in B.R. and can linger for a career. Landing in J-Ville dictated a mediocre career.
FWIW - D Henry breaks a 94 yard TD yesterday. Clocked at 21.6 mph at 247 lbs!

Outside of every game vs Bama he was unstoppable. But he stays hurt and has for years now.
Henry will have one game where he is a beast and the next he will go 10 for 21 yards. Makes no sense.

Pretty amazing what he accomplished running into stacked boxes his entire career...imagine if he ran out of a spread

Love LF7 but it seems his career at LSU never took off outside of a handful of games where he showed unbelievable flashes of brilliance
His career was a lot kore than just the Bama games.

terms of rush yards per game. Henry had more yardage due to having 2 more games
thats how rushing titles are measured in ncaa. Henry played in 15 games LF didn't

He was better than Henry, Henry was just on a better team.

He literally had nearly a 2000 yard rushing season his sophomore year in just 12 games. He would have been well over 2000 yards had we not canceled a game that season too. He averaged 6.5 yards per carry and was only shut down by Bama that entire season. Averaged over 4 yards per carry in every other game.
Now Fournette vs. Henry in the NFL is a huge difference thus far with the edge easily going to Henry, but to say Fournette never took off in college is like where TF where you in 2015?

It’s a close call at the top, but Fournette is surely the best LSU running back since 2000 and arguably the best in school history. He came out of high school with the size and physicality of an NFL running back and at least came close to matching expectations that were outrageous and a little unfair before his college career even began. Despite starting less than half LSU’s games during his freshman season, Fournette still rushed for over 1,000 yards and capped the season with a kickoff return for a touchdown in the team’s bowl game.
As a sophomore in 2015, Fournette set the LSU single-season rushing record with 1,953 yards and the single-season rushing touchdown record with 22. It was arguably the best season by a running back in LSU history and perhaps even SEC history. Unfortunately for Fournette, injuries held him back during his junior year in 2016, limiting him to just seven games, including games when he played hurt. However, Fournette still finished his career with over 3,000 rushing yards and 40 rushing touchdowns, leaving little doubt that he’s the best LSU running back of the 21st century.

LF was insane at LSU. Henry is special in the NFL, has nothing to do with LF though. I do think LF’s injuries have done a number on his career.

Yes!

Freakish size, speed, vision...all in one package.
Fournette has the size and speed but not the vision.

LF7 not getting a heisman invite in 2015 is one of the biggest snubs of all time.
He has proven he is a 1,000 yd back in the NFL when healthy. No he isn’t the best RB in the league like a lot of people thought he could be, but he’s an above average NFL starter.

Henry is a different animal.
Fournette was supposed to be Adrian Peterson.
Except he got too big, had little to no lateral agility, and his vision was lackluster.

Compare his career numbers to Adrian Peterson at OU. You’ll be shocked at how close they are.

LF not beating Alabama is what will be remembered during this run

That’s a really disingenuous way to describe LF7s LSU career.

Sadly most people will remember LF7 at LSU for his absolute failure vs bama. Of course that wasn’t his fault.
