LSU has to have a play making QB and passing game next year or he will be judged harshly. But all things considered with Etling and all the injuries this year, LSU is in the top 20 and looking pretty good for this year.

He lost to Troy this season

My only regret is I can only downvote once. This is so old and proves how miserable some people can be.

O not playing Brennan is really pissing folks off. There is absolutely no reason to not give him snaps.

Listen I am very happy about how this team is playin at the moment but how can you ignore this?

It was absolutely unacceptable to lose to them and without that loss, LSU is ranked much higher.

It was a bad loss, you can't spin it any other way

And considering we only have one win over a bowl eligible team, that loss makes a MAJOR difference

He had me before he lost to Troy. That is unacceptable. The only way he can win me back is to beat Bama and win the SEC. Until then #frickHim

I call balls and strikes with the guy.

Wasn't happy when he was hired. The start of the season was God awful.

Since then I give him and the staff credit for turning things around and keeping the team focused. It would have been easy for them to pull a Florida State and pack it in after losing to a Sun Belt team but they didn't. If they finish with 10 wins and solid recruiting class I'll be optimistic moving forward.

What percentage of fans post on the rant? Not just read it, but post? I say 5 or less.

No one is trying to say that the state andTroy games were anything short of disgusting.

What others are trying to say is there were 10 other games this season and despite 2 crippling losses, O rallied the troops and fought back.

Just like you can't throw out the Troy game when observing this season, you can't point to only the Troy game when grading this season.

Huh? Troy still happened, this season, no matter how mad you get at its mere mention. We could potentially be ranked in the top 10 right now.

It's possible to praise the overall improvement of the team while still recognizing how atrocious that loss was.

He's winning the national media over. Every story on him is how he turned the program around after the Troy game and how he isn't repeating his OM days.

What are you talkin about, I am very happy with the turn around and where we are, I am not here to shite on anyone.

All I am saying is you can't just simply ignore the troy loss . It put a shite stain in the entire season IMO

LSU beat a good auburn team and has taken care of business vs the rest of the teams we should be. I'm content with how we finished out the season

Do you ever read the rant?

The answer is simply, he will never win some over. The sad truth is that some people here would rather LSU lose to see O fired, to be able to say they were correct, rather than LSU be really successful.

Insert Les Miles and it is exactly the same statement on our fan base.

Everyone is happy we have won 8 games. (Especially after the Troy loss) But the losses to Troy and getting blown out by Moo State does not win anyone over.

Further the CEO structure isn’t one that bodes well for long term success.

An unprecedented in the history of college football meeting between the AD, HC and Coordinators is, again not a sign of a good management structure.

Add to that while you can only play the teams on the schedule, we have played 3 teams that have already fired their coaches, 2 others that may.

And rumored friction between O and Canada so severe that some believe Canada will leave at the end of the year and we will need a new OC.

An offense next year with perhaps 3 new starters on the OL, an inexperienced QB, inexperienced RB and inexperienced WR.

This year may be the high water mark for O.

Fair points. You seem reasonable- so.. who of the available coaches would you want?
