How'd scoring offense turn out for us in 2023?

Sounds a lot like the LA Tech game
Except Georgia scored over 40 in both their other games. And LSU has yet to score even 28
If last night’s offensive performance had just been an aberration, there would be a lot less concern.
But it’s been consistently inept offense through 3 full games.

I hope we sleepwalk to 15 wins

We lost several OL to the NFL who should become top level lineman in the league and those guys couldn’t establish a run game either last year.
That’s when you’ve got to look at the system and the blocking schemes not aligning with our talent level, something is off fundamentally with the coaches not being able to get creative.
The OL has a ton of new faces with a ton of talent, and I expect them to develop and gel towards the end of season provided we stay healthy.
But even so, the scheme has to adjust to the in-experience up front. It can only go up from here, and with a consistent defense, nobody will dominate this team, we can win every game if we break even or win the turnover battle.
With a Team like this one, we just need the offense to not self-destruct like it does in good field position like we have the last 2 games. That’s how you lose a big one when it counts.
I’m not gonna panic about the offense just yet. Lots of changes on that OL, and it takes a while for a new OL to be a cohesive unit.

That has dick to do with the offense - BRO!

The offense can't get into a rhythm and has no identity.
The identity should be put the ball in your playmakers hands downfield.
Hilton 0 touches
Barion Brown 2 catches
Nic Anderson 1 catch
Aaron Anderson 4 catches
Those guys should have 18 combined catches or more, not 7. And get it to them 10+ yards down the field. Enough of rinky dink flats, screens. Get them the damn ball 15 yards down field.

BK was out of line imo chewing out the reporter for asking about the offense. That was clearly the pink elephant in the room. 13 points (easily could've been 20 if not kneel out), on 4 non pick 6 INTs isn't enough. It needs to be corrected. The media is supposed to ask about those things.
You need to get the ball in your playmakers hands downfield. AA, Brown, Hilton, NA, ZT, get them the ball 15 yards downfield. This issue is solvable.

Yet LSU is 3-0 with the best defense in the country.
Remember that time LSU had the best offense in the country and no defense?
I do, and the Ranters bitched the same then as now.
Enjoy this team.

The positigers can say and feel however they like, but if the offense doesn't improve over what we've seen so far, there won't be any playoffs. You aren't beating Ole Miss, A&M, Bama and Oklahoma without scoring more than 20 points. The defense will likely keep us in most games, but if we're going to be a legitimate national title threat, they have to get it going. We aren't beating elite teams with just a good defense.

Look. We are back to “Les Miles” football. It could be worse. We will still win (almost) all of our games. The offense isn’t good but it can score a few points. I think they will get a bit better as the season goes along, if they can get to averaging 17 to 24 points per game, I think we will be fine.

I do as well. Do you think that people on here shouldn’t have bitched about the defense?

It's a good thing we have a defense

Now do teams giving up 24+ points per game.

I do too. We lost three games and didn’t make the playoffs.

Does having a great defense cause some coaches to play it safer on offense?
