Chambliss response to where he’ll play if he gets waiver
Sure sounds like if he gets another year of eligibility he’s for sure following Lane.

Anyone have an idea of when the decision on an extra year is supposed to come down?

Chambliss is 100% following Charlie and Lane. If he gets another year. It’s done.

He seems like a great kid

That's the (mature) response of someone who knows he's gone
Forget LSU exists, there's just no reason to stay at Ole Miss. He's been enrolled there for 7 months and it will be a completely new offensive staff. Why would a Top 5 player in the portal roll the dice on a new staff when he can get his pick of program and more assurances of stability?
Truth be told his defection may break Ole Miss more. He's who the lunatic fans have clung to the most in Lane's absence. They're not done with pain

If LSU gets Chambliss, the very best of the portal players will be lining up to come to BR.

Would love to have QB knowing CLK's system already and one as gifted as this guy. However, I am uncomfortable with anything Ole Miss related.

Will be interesting to see how this whole thing shapes out with all the QBs entering the portal who LK chooses to go after.

I just don't get the obsession with the guy. Low TD count, and half of those were against Tulane, Citadel, and Miss. St. He is a game-manager at best. Go get someone who can actually sling it.

Since he's not going to Bama, it will be a last minute decision.

I know there's this perception of LK's offenses being explosive, high powered passing attacks when he throws his clipboard in the air before the ball is snapped. But truth be told, he wants a dominating running game. Look no further than Lacey's stats. Chambliss fits that role perfectly for what LK wants to do. Are there better options to sling it? Probably so, but to question what Chambliss has done WITHIN what LK if is asking of him while providing a dominant rushing attack, I'll take him all day every day next year.

23/39 for 314 yards, and 1 TD against us. And the win. Was our D any good?

He will go wherever they pay him the most.

There’s a pretty good chance that’s LSU

He was 23/39, not 29, and he also had a pick. Not the most amazing outing at 58%.
