How come we haven't ever put the overhead things that Oregon and Seattle have? Is it the way our stadium is built that wouldn't work for them?

Just imagine how loud TS would be if we had those. 92,000+ screaming and the sound is being pushed back down onto the field. I'm sure this has been discussed here before though.

Overhangs like UDub would be bad arse, I am not a fan of adding to the current capacity. I think the future is to upgrade the gameday experience to keep our fans in their seats.

If I thought you were serious I would say you really don't know shite about the concept of return on investment. How many seats will be added by your stupid assed fricking idea? The stadium is plenty loud enough if those there bother to make noise.

he has a point. why spend money on something ugly that brings no money in. all lsu cares about is money, not noise. the only reason the south endzone is expanding is for luxury boxes, the real money maker

I think Ig was referring to the fact that he didn't have to be a dick bag to the OP

The reasons already stated are better, but that would look terrible.

It would be awesome to have those to block some sun. Especially with the 11 AM and afternoon games. I swear smelled bacon at the spring game a few years back.

covers would be nice, would help a lot with the sun shining directly into the east side. but, costs would probably be prohibitive due to what it would take to hurricane-proof....

agree with the poster about improving the gameday experience...

been thinking about what it'd be like to triple deck what's left of south stadium with a 20 foot clearance (so you could get RV's in and provide power, water, and sewer hookups)

the biggest thing is for LSU to get their head out of their arse and realize that gameday traffic requires cooperation with outside entities...

Not a good idea IMO. Having more shade than the turf can tollerate because of the upper decks is already an issue without having covers.

LSU needs to upgrade concourses, concessions & restrooms in the old stadium.

Louisiana's serfs continue to gobble up overpriced season tickets as if it's their duty to their beloved state institution. There's no need to enhance their gameday experience. Let them eat moldy nachos and drink slime cola.

The demand for luxury boxes is increasing. They serve as a marketing tool and tax deduction for corporate entities and a status symbol for Louisiana's ruling class. The SEZ expansion is more about increasing the number of luxury boxes than anything else.

-All chair back, wider seats with cup holders.

-Ability to use Smart phones w/o interruption

-Better replays - for every play, including controversial plays. Repeated replays with the same quality (in terms of camera angles) as shown on tv.

-Miles pre-game/halftime/after game interviews broadcasted to stadium.

-in restroom game coverage (at the very least the radio broadcast)

-more parking

-better and quicker exit routes after game to interstates.

-might as well sale alcohol since people sneak it in anyway. Plus, its not fair that club seats and suites get to consume their adult beverages.

-more creative half-time band performances.

-reduce the alma-mater at the beginning of game to just one verse. Bring back Tiger Rag to the Pre-game show.

-Allow Mike the Tiger loose on visitors sideline for all teams whose name starts with A or F.

I'm down with everything you e mentioned besides reducing the alma mater. It's the alma mater for goodness sake. Love it or leave it.

I'd be okay with just having wifi like a lot of stadiums are doing now. I don't need to talk to anyone during the game.

Fire. Die in it.

They might do that since the band brought back Tiger Rag in the stands this season.

Because we dont need gimmicks, noisemakers, or architecture to make our stadium louder

Making noise the ole fashioned way is the way to do it
