I can't envision a scenario whereby LSU loses to Ole Miss this year. Surely the Tigers haven't sunk that low
our OL can't block anyone. Both Syracuse and Troy regularly rushed 4 guys and got to our QB, even when we had RBs and TEs in to help block. Both Syracuse and Troy had moments of physically dominating our DL.

Do you think Syracuse and Troy have better OL and DL than Ole Miss?

O losing to Ole Miss would be absolutely hilarious at this point.

I wonder if Alleva feels shame?

We just lost to Troy, at home no less, and you've having trouble believing that OM could beat us?

I hear from a reliable source that Steve Spurrier's wife just signed a purchase agreement on Les Miles' house...

Add in a Bama beat down later this season of Ole Miss level proportions.

If they finish as bad as it looks like they will then Orgeron will never be able to win the fanbase back over.

Doubtful.

A bureaucrat like that is always thinking CYA, first and foremost. Shame is on the back burner.

The REAL sad thing is that A&M will finally get their win over us.

So O has to win one of his next three games to keep his job? High standards at the new LSU.

Les being the honorable man he is, will forego his buyout so that it can be applied to the men who ousted him in Alleva and Orgeron

If that were true, we should start resurrecting his statue once deal closes. I will get foundation ready.

Part of me agrees, but recruiting would take a major hit as every other team would use it against us. Also, the players we have now are doing the best they can. An empty stadium will not get O fired any faster than no wins.

If he doest right the ship next week he will probably be fired at the end of the year. This year is tanked.

What does his buy out go to in January?

If we lose the next 3 we would be 3-5. If O is let go at that point, who would take over as interim going into the bye week? Aranda? Would he even want to take over and risk his national reputation with this group?
