The 2nd play INT did have me cautious for a split second, but damn the poise that our entire team played with after that disastrous first drive was something we haven't seen in a while. We need to appreciate and enjoy Blake Baker for every single second that we have him, because he's going to get his HC shot very soon.
I seriously doubt that. If he ended up at Bama, he would be right back in the shadow of Saban, which I really don't see him enjoying. He seems to want to blaze his own trail with his own name doing it his way. He's taken his bumps and lessons he's learned from Tenn, USC, FAU, and Ole piss, combine that with what he learned growing up with his dad and then under Saban, and it really has the feeling that this is just the right fit at the exact right moment.
Honest question to anyone who can make a case for one, but is there a better job in CFB for Lane than LSU? Between the facilities, brand, exposure, conference, high school talent pool, lack of in-state recruiting competition, and current NIL and transfer portal financial backing/commitment, it's honestly hard to think of another program that beats LSU in all, or even most, of those areas that Lane would potentially make a jump for in the next 5-8 years.

I think the only place Kiffin would consider leaving LSU for, would be USC. He has history there. I just don't think USC will hire him back. I think he will do great things here.

You are completely wrong about Wayne Huizenga. Big reason Saban took the job. He had full control. Huizenga brought us the Marlins and the Panthers to South Florida. Highly regarded. RIP Wayne.

this is the best I've seen LSU look, both offensively and defensively, since 2019.
