Agree to an extent but the players were also lined up off the ball on short downs .. by like 10-15 yards.. that’s coaching telling them to try and execute that play and those position, many times, no?
With a qb like Chambliss, he’s going to see players lined up soft and away and not pressing, and he’s going to eat you alive on short gains. When they fixed it, they couldn’t drive the ball at all, and then our D went back to that soft shite.. make that make sense. Why find a solution and then go back to what wasn’t working? That’s coaching, right?

We might not have the traditional studs at WR, and the line getting shite on didnt help, but I saw multiple drive-saving throws or late-game TDs that could have been made to wide open receivers. The receivers are getting separation. It’s not even horrible offensive play calling. It’s just a combination of the line playing bad, and the QB panicking and not going through his reads. He reads one and then scrambles and tries to make a play, not even seeing the guy wide open ten yards in front of him.

all he had to do was put a little zip on the ball to #4 running towards the out of bounds. Easy TD.
Even though it’s early and still hot, my kids requested a homemade gumbo and potato salad , and eating ‘winter food’ in the AC at 8 pm doesn’t bother me. So I’m making what they want lol

I’m not one of those weirdos who have to eat chili or red beans or stew or gumbo when it’s freezing cold man. You’re eating it in the AC at 7:30 pm watching the game. My kids asked for the first gumbo of the year and I shall make it.

My dad is coming over to watch the game tomorrow with myself and my two oldest daughters, making a gumbo and potato salad together. We will all be dressed in purple and gold for the LSU game. It’s bad juju if you watch a game at home and don’t even have a purple shirt on baw.

I don’t mind Moscona’s takes or listening to him sometimes, but what turns me off of his content is the 79,000 ads. Literally can’t speak for 5 minutes without some ad he’s gotta talk about. It’s an instant station change for me.

LSU and ole miss have been rivals since the 50s lol. Even though in the modern era, we have had other rivals come about more prevalent, the ole miss one is still deep in the roots.

Same. Was never a fan of that hire. I knew he wouldn’t fit our culture or our program. It was a safe hire on paper but it was terrible in reality.
On the field?
It was nice to see a head coach locked in. Night and day difference from BK. It was nice to see an OL that can block. It was nice to not see players celebrating after making a tackle 15 yards down the field like they did amazing for giving up chunks of yardage lol. It was nice to see a QB not afraid to take off and use his feet. It was nice to see the running game come back after being so stagnant. It was nice to see a dominant front 7. It was nice to see that the team was focused and didn’t let all of the offseason stuff distract them. Man I could go on and on. Hell of a win
