Could you imagine the absolute fury he would come back with?
Like when Maximus Decimus Meridius (aka Russell Crowe) came back and all his soldiers were ready to die for him.
He would have the biggest chip on his shoulder to show the NCAA and everyone else that the whole witch hunt was bullshite. And if we got this new arena built too…. Damn that would be something to see.

This board's opinion should never be part of an AD's hiring decision. But if that announcement ever came it would be an epic day on the rant.

MM may suck but Will Wade is so overrated on this board. Cheated for a 9-9 SEC record his last season. If you move on from MM hire someone cheap and hope you get lucky

I would support rehiring Will Wade.
But I don't think Woody would makes such an obvious and certainly successful hire. Too much pride to overcome.

He made the NCAA tournament. In my opinion, that should be the standard here. He was doing it consistently. But whatever helps you sleep at night.
He will not be rehired here. But those that sit and shite talk Wade and aren’t appalled at what is happening right now is laughable.

Will Wade's Cowboys are on the road to make it into the NCAA Tournament, again. They are currently 4-0 in conference play.
His team only lost to number 2 Alabama by 8 and number 25 MSU by 3 in pre-conference play and are good reference points to compare against CMM Tigers when they play Alabama and Mississippi State.

But it's ok if you forgot that. I could see how you might think all 9-9 SEC performances lead to backing into an NIT game in front of dozens of friends and family.
