The only consistency is the consistent lack of NCAA tournament appearances.

So what year is he building to?

Is it acceptable for a first year Vandy coach to have a better roster than McMahon in 3rd year?

LSU basketball continues to wallow in mediocrity because with us, it’s always next year U (except when Wade was here). We’re building a staircase to nowhere…

The fact LSU has as good of a roster as it does with the incredibly limited resources and support is remarkable.

Does he now have less resources than prior coaches that built better rosters?

As usual, we played a miserable OOC schedule and lost to all the decent teams.

There’s never been anything close to it in LSU fandom history. It would be like shilling for Curly Hallman

We have consistently been mediocre with McMahon despite his success as a recruiter.

I agree we have a good roster. I think losing Tyrell and Jalen hurt, but we still have a solid roster.

Definitely better talent wise than Vanderbilt from what I saw. But far, far worse coached.

Yes because we flipped Curtis from Memphis and VJ from Oregon with extremely limited resources.

Great! Moral Victory U!

The fact of the matter is that McMahon is out of his element here. I don’t blame him for taking the job/opportunity but it’s obvious that there is a disconnect. I just think he is suited better to the mid major level and some coaches just are.

When i think about it, I struggle to find what McMahon’s strong suit is. We haven’t landed a top elite recruit in his time here (missing out on Cenac will loom large but I’ve harped on that enough). Personnel decisions are lacking. For example, not having a backup ball handler on the team when knowing there was a decent chance Jalen Cook would miss time. In game execution is leaving a lot to be desired - high turnovers every game and head scratching end of game set plays.

It’s been said before but today’s game is one that you needed to have in order to keep a decent margin for error. The top teams in the conference will wax us.

The McMen excuse of the season will be losing Jalen Reed but every team has to deal with injuries. At some point the excuses do not carry weight and you have to look at the common denominator.

No offense at all, bland, soft D, can’t rebound, lots of turnovers, bad shots, no adjustments.

Same shite for 3 years without interruption.

That’s a problem.
No problem at all for all the Pump NUT Cheerleader MA's.

In all LSU Sports, these annoying "Freaks of Nature" are present and sucking off THE MEDS.
