Daniels gets more involved in the running game, by design not scrambling, and the defense bends but doesn’t break. LSU 28 State 24.

I think we can win. It's a home game, and Miss State isn't a Top 10 opponent, they're a decent SEC program with a unique offense.
We have played a lot of zone this season already, I think we've been prepping more for this game than you might expect. Kelly said it would be tough to scheme for them in 3 days, so saying that, he was already aware and doing it the past couple.
As frustrating as the loss to Fla State was, we win that game if special teams simply perform as expected- punt returner fields punts, kicks (especially extra points) aren't blocked.
Southern was the weakest cupcake we've faced maybe ever, but that game allowed us to let a return guy get in some work, and he caught the ball. More repetitions helped the kicking game, you don't need a lot of time to get a kick off. They got a lot of practice there.
And maybe as important or more- it allowed Daniels and Boutte to get more on the same page, which will be big going forward. We also get probably our best RB back from suspension, which also can only help us.

We are the better team. Home game. Death Valley on a Saturday night. Come on.

My big concern? State runs delayed crossing routes all day long and we cover those routes poorly for some reason.
That said, I'm all in, let's do this thing

Because we are the better coached. We have way better talent then State. Stop being a little bitch !

We have more talent overall.
Overall, we have better coaching.

Last Saturday showed me something I have never seen as a Tiger fan— focus from the first whistle blown. Yeah I get it, Southern is not on the talent level but how many Towsons, Troys, directional U’s have we started ugly and somehow pulled out a win.
For now I think CBK has their attention and tAlignment is high.
Finally, Moo State just doesn’t typically have a lot of success against the Tigers unless Bond is QBing.

Run the ball!!!……..tackle. If we do those two things well we will win.

We won last year with a shite team and staff. We have a better team and staff this year. State is a bit better than last year but hasn’t improved as much as LSU. Our talent is still superior and now better coached.

Well I know what need to do.
Play Perkins. He’s too athletic to be relegated to special teams.
Run the ball and win time of possession.
Pressure the QB.
Mix up defensive looks and don’t over commit.

What if name calling IS the reason, though?

Because Mike Leach cannot adapt and his team routinely cannot score points against moderate defense.
He’ll throw the ball 70 times so they will have 350 yards passing but 7 yards rushing.

JD is heating up and that MSU defense will be in trouble.
