He was 1-3 vs Texas. The only game he started. He had a pinch hit in each of the other games. He had zero Ks. He hit two other balls hard.

He is bringing more speed and a good left handed bat to our lineup. He fits in very well.

He immediately solidifies the outfield, as Berry just can’t cover the area Gio can. Now that his bat is coming around, hard to sit him with his speed.

I have no clue why anyone would doubt Gio to that level. He’s such a great fit as a starter on this team, this team will be at its best if he continues to step up

July 21: He won’t make the roster
February 22: He wouldn’t be on the team if the roster was 35
And now he can’t hit SEC pitching?
You know he hit 0.293 last year and his SEC average (0.317) was higher than his OOC average.
