Too many idiots don’t understand you can have a quality AB and not get a hit or walk. If all you do is look at a box score you really don’t get even close to the full story. The same idiots are doing this with Milazzo as well.

And anyone else who didn’t think he’d work his way into a starter roll this season plus batting the following:

You better hope he stays hot

Or what? If he slumps, he slumps. He’s already proven Jack wrong multiple times by simply being here. Lester thinks he only hits singles and is mediocre in the OF. Again, wrong. Nothing he does after this proves them right.

I like Gio starting. I think he is a better CF than Crews, but so be it if Jay wants Crews in CF. Those 2 along with Dugas make for a very solid outfield.

On the flip side, I don't care for Berry at 3rd as a result. But what can you do? He's really starting to heat up.

I've been a little surprised McManus has looked so awful at the plate. When is Milazzo expected back? He is CLEARLY the best option behind the plate.

You wonder if Jay knew Gio was his RF all along. He started opening day, didn't do anything to lose his spot in that first weekend, then really didn't play again until Texas, then gets 2 starts heading into conference.

I wish he would flip Gio and Crews defensively but I’m glad he’s getting more chances

Safford was at 2B opening day. Dugas was sat on Sunday for Gio. Not sure if this was always the plan. But it’s certainly nice to have him there after the Berry defensive experiments end.

Safford at 2B on opening day will never not be a head scratcher for me. He has a whopping 5 ABs now.

I am thinking of talking shite just to keep a non Wade related thread going.

Gio’s mustache is creepy and he won’t he ably to run down SEC fly balls.

Doughty is still overlooked. 26 RBIs and 0.852 slugging. Both lead the team. Leads the team in steals too. He should be leading the golden spikes talk.

Not by me brother.

I like Cade better at 3rd base, but in order to get best bats in the line up I guess he needs to stay at 2nd.

I never understood the Gio haters. I always said he struck out way too much for the speed he has but other than that he is a good player. Injuries plagued him last season.

Doughty is definitely overlooked. He continues his good play this season and he will work his way into the middle of the first round. If not higher.
