The rational thing would be to….Calm down, Let it play out.

Surely I can’t be the only one that feels this way, right?

What do you mean by "let it play out"?

do you mean give him all 7 years on his contract? 4 years? 3 years?

Ignore the situation and just trust that he will be fired when the time is right without fans pushing the process?

I have no idea what you are suggesting.

I can see where you are coming from

The other side of the coin is that allowing this to fester will lead to a greater rebuild and yet more years in the wilderness

So far you haven't even given it 1 year. For a program that was completely gutted and facing sanctions.

As one of the cute little Sunshine Pumping Pump Lumps, you forgot the required "Relax" and "We'll be Fine" BS in your post.

Name one thing he’s done since he’s been here that inspires any confidence.

The melt will explode when there are no sanctions and Wade is off to Coach somewhere else.

Maybe. Maybe not.

But now is not the time to panic. Only little girls would panic in year 1.

Especially given the weird/odd/unusual circumstances.

I'm looking at a guy that walked in to a bad situation. Not just the headlines "bad situation" with the NCAA there was a pile of other shite that involved the program. But you know that dont you?

So its a complete rebuild and that is going to take 2 or 3 years. Hard to watch this year? absolutely. Just give the man a chance and I think 2 to 3 years is an appropriate amount of time to see steady improvement.

You can NOT be serious!!

Let it play out when we can come into the Rant multiple times a day screaming hysterically?

Let it play out when we can come into the Rant day after day posting the same stuff?

Let it play out so that we have to stop making fools of ourselves on a daily basis?

Let it play out so that we might actually come up with something that might actually make a difference?

Nay, sir. I say NAY.

What other options do you have? Bitch and moan on the rant for two more years? It's ok to be disappointed and even angry about the state of MBB without throwing a tantrum every day on the rant as some do (not calling out money, speaking generically)

It’s rational because they aren’t going to fire him after a year or two. MAYBE after year three if major improvements aren’t shown.

I have been a diehard basketball supporter through the years. I supported Wade and thought the administration should have supported him at least until a final ruling was issued by the infractions committee.

With all that said, I’m not melting because I no longer care about the basketball program. My passion has been replaced with total apathy and disinterest. I reluctantly renewed my season tickets this year, but no more. I’m not going to pay money to watch this train wreck.

It took LSU about 10 years to return to consistency after Brady was fired; I suspect it will take another 10 years for us to come close to the success Wade had. It was a fun ride while it lasted.

No. There wasn’t. Anything negative in the program was related to the NCAA investigation. You’re talking out of your arse

The irrational responses to this thread tell you all you need to know. They either cannot or choose not to think rationally. Preferring to act like emotionally driven ... well, you go ahead and fill in the rest.
