Go to the bathroom turn the heater on. Close the door Come back in an hour and then put the hairdryer to your face.
Oh.
So like walking outside in S. Louisiana, only less humid

No it’s not.
Phoenix is dry. Las Vegas is dry. You can analogize or make jokes about the heat in the desert being “dry”, but no one has ever said Midwest heat was “a dry heat”.
It can be brutal up here. Not “August Louisiana” brutal, but brutal none-the-less.

It’s stupid hot.
What a schizophrenic place weather-wise. I remember watching the back half of the 1998 series when the cold front came through and thinking it was a December game at Lambeau given how everyone was bundled up

The midwest can get miserably hot.

So not as bad as what I cut grass with a push mower in. I think you pansies can take sitting down to watch baseball

I live in Texas. You just ain’t use to the real heat
Omaha is as hot as Texas at its worst right now. But the big difference is that no one in Texas hangs out outside in that heat, while the CWS is an outdoor experience - not just at the game but walking around.

We had like 90 straight days that hot in houston last summer with no rain. Maybe it ws the summer before but not a big deal.

Heat dome in 2023.
Something like 98-102 for 7 straight weeks with zero rain.
