I want Bama to beat them because I work with more aggies than gumps. I truly can say, the aggies are my least favorite fan base

I'm pulling for A&M. Especially after seeing this from NOLA LSU beat writer Jim Kleinpeter today:

quote:

Texas more likely, although Saban has said Alabama will be his last job. If he wins it all this year it wouldn't surprise me if he left. Anything less than a championship wouldn't be good. That's the same thing that chased Spurrier from Florida. Saban has been rumored to have some financial problems and Texas has more money than Bama I would wager. The move would also appeal to Saban's ego. He's never go to USC, though.

First, anyone know what kind of financial problems he's having? Must be serious if a reporter is throwing this around.

Second, A couple losses this year, fallout from the Fluker situation (considering this is Saban's 2nd major OL prospect involved with agents prior to graduating- Andre Smith in '08) combined with these financial problems and he might just decide to bolt Tuscaloosa.

f you want Bama to beat A&M, you are not an LSU fan
Reasons to pull for A&M to lose:
1) You don't like JFF. (Personal opinion)
2) You want to play an undefeated Bama. (Fact: you're an idiot)

Reasons to pull for Bama to lose:
1) Bama cost us a National Title in 2011.
2) Bama cost us a National Title in 2012.
3) Bama just signed the #1 recruit in the country, from Louisiana.
4) Bama signs top recruits from Louisiana every year.
5) Beating an undefeated Bama at their place means nothing (see 2011).
6) Beating a 1-loss Bama will knock them out of the National Title race.
7) Bama is our biggest rival while we have played and beat A&M twice in the last 18 years.
8) 3 out of 4
9) AJ McCarron
10) Nick Saban
11) LSU has a better shot at beating A&M at home than Bama on the road. This means that we have a better shot at making the SECCG (and NCG) if A&M wins. THIS IS OUR GOAL.

As you can see, the facts listed above me show that it is extremely better for LSU if A&M wins Saturday. Therefore, if you would prefer to see Bama win, or if you are even indifferent about this game, you are not an LSU fan. End Rant.

You're depending on a lot of rumor variables there, bud.

My feelings are at this point I'd rather Alabama win 3 straight than Aggy win their first. Aggy is insufferable.

That statement doesn't make the case you think it makes. What's the precedent? The best one loss team, among other one loss teams, plays for the NC. I like that precedent.

You can not and will not tell me who to root for. I do however agree that it's in LSU's best interest for the aggies to win most likely. But whoever I pull for, it will have no bearing on my LSU fanness.

I want them both to lose every game they play, but this time they can't both lose.

The way our defense is playing, we may have a better shot at beating Bama than A&M down the road.

I'm an LSU fan because I pull for no one but the Tigers.

Everyone else is irrelevant.

Your logic is flawed and your post is Rantarded.

Pulling for either team is like going to the doctor and being told you're dying of a terminal disease that is excruciatingly painful and then being told by the doctor, "Hey... the good news is, assisted suicide is now legal!"

My aTm friends will be insufferable if they win, but Alabama needs to have at least 2 losses this year.

Say the last game of the year we need Auburn to beat Bama to give them a second loss to volt us into the SECCG? You don't care who wins? That game is irrelevant? Must be I mean LSU isn't playing...

Bama will win this game, it's just a matter of by how many points. Regardless, cheering for either team is an effort in futility. Cheer for LSU. In all likelihood, we'll have to beat both. No need to obsess about this game like some people are. Watch it as a good football game and relax, then go into Tiger Stadium for 4 quarters and watch us kick some golden flashes arse.

This. I don't see why any LSU fan gives a shite who wins this game.
