If you had to pick- would you rather Nuss be a gunslinger or overly conservative

I know where I stand and you can tell by my post history.

I'm aware that we'd all prefer him to be 6th year Joe Burrow or Prime Tom Brady but if you had to pick.

I'd rather him sling it personally

I need a better definition of what exactly it means to be a gunslinger

We have no run game therefore he has to be an effective and aggressive passer to win games. If we could run with any regular efficiency that dynamic would change. Unfortunately we don’t have the luxury of having options at the moment.

If you don't know what a gunslinger at QB is then you're going to pick the overly conservative option.

I’d rather better situational awareness with both Nuss and Sloan..There were too many low percentage throws attempted Saturday. Nuss have had more “chain moving” options in some of the play calls and he in turn showed have asked for more. Also, kill the RPO plays when your QB is not a running threat

Nuss is by no means super careful with the ball, but our play calling, receivers inability to get extremely decent separation, and our lack of run game forces him to put the ball in tight spots and harms way more often than he should have to.

Are you considering what he has been so far this year a gunslinger?

Somewhere in between first LSU year Jayden Daniels and first half of Ole Miss game Nuss would be perfect

He needs to stop throwing it up for grabs. It is disappointing that he still makes such stupid decisions. Further, he needs to run when the moment is propitious for doing so. He has much to learn.

Gunslinger but why do we pass for 30 yards on 3rd down instead of having someone just past the first down marker. And when there is an easy 5 or 6 yard pickup run the ball.

He may be better with a credible run game.

I’d rather just start Collins or Hurley

Gunslinger, but keep the defense honest by taking off and running when he has obvious open field in front of him . Slide before taking a hit .

Gunslinger that recognizes the easy yards he can scramble for.

Oh you mean like the Saints where the entire defense swarms the receiver. I’d much rather have the QB have options as opposed to having to through 5 yard passes to a covered Mason Taylor on those play.

Don't mind the gunslinging just wish he'd run for it instead of constantly gunslinging into triple coverage!

The defense gives him running lanes, he needs better situational awareness. On 2nd and long take the yards they give you instead of forcing a ball up for grabs.

I don't expect him or want him go run and take a beating like Josh Allen, but he needs to take those lands when they're clear and make the defense respect the rpo and threat.

I would like him to be both. You can be a gunslinger and not throw balls up with a Prayer off of your back foot. That’s not being a smart QB. I did like see him move around in the pocket and scramble more when it was wide open.

Yes

Please let this be the time where you say he's shitty and I get to start bringing up stats and game winning drives
