I've got LSU dropping this game on the road. Will be a wakeup call for this coaching staff and players.

I think that applies to most QBs. Give them time abd eventually they will beat you. Even the best DBs can’t hold coverage forever.

They set the opening line at LSU -3, and then they adjust accordingly. That’s exactly how it works.

So they have LSU winning. So they don’t agree with the claim that we will lose….

He picked Ole Miss to win though which I disagree with

All the analytics are picking Ole Miss to win which is why the spread is what it is and pundits are taking the Rebels. Blame the LSU defense for this

Well they’ve given up fewer sacks on more attempts and avg almost a full ypc more in the run game vs better competition.

This should be our rallying cry in the grove Saturday. Please turn Harold loose! PLEASE!

They turned him loose vs Arkansas. He still lacks discipline and over-pursues at times. On at least two of Jefferson's runs/scrambles where he escaped to make a play, Perk lost his contain by rushing too far upfield or going into the wrong gap leaving an opening. These are forgivable mistakes considering how well he does otherwise but he needs to learn to do better here in order to maximize his effect on the plays and his value on draft day.

If Daniels has a first half like he did against Ar Kansas, we will probably lose. If he plays the entire game, like the second half, I don't worry about Dart nor our defense.

Will be curious to see what adjustments he makes going into the game whether that be from a personnel standpoint or play calling.

Tulane had 4 sacks
Alabama had 5 sacks

we’re 4 games in. averages mean nothing.

No it means LSU would be a 10 or 10’pt favorite at home, my advice to you is don’t bet if u don’t understand the line, there is a reason u can find thousands of betting sites, suckers finance them.

You’re misrepresenting the quote. I was responding to someone saying that Josh Pate is an idiot by saying then the oddsmakers must be idiots too with a line opening that tight. Essentially saying that they think it’ll be a toss up and could really go either way but the edge goes to LSU.

I’m not going to say someone is an idiot because they took Ole Miss in a game that has a very short opening line favoring LSU.

No, it indicates LSU is favored. Otherwise odds would be even.

We were catching him, we just couldn't bring his big arse down.

If players maintain their gaps we would have had 3-4 more sacks instead of big plays by KJ. House called some great stunts but the players didn't maintain their gaps. It isn't a talent thing or even a coaching thing. It's an accountability thing. And Jefferson needs to play more this week and get penetration up the middle.

So just waive away the data because it doesn’t jive with your opinion? Like how you excluded ypc as well. I wonder if you’d apply that standard to our offense? Bottom line is OM Oline is better than Arkansas’, the numbers show it and anyone paid to analyze college FB says the same. Arky has a bad Oline, one of the worst in the conference.

Ole Miss hasn't played better competition than LSU. Probably pretty comparable though.

It would be incredible to see our DL beat a one on one matchup and sack a QB on a passing down, playing it straight up
