Would you want a pg who can pass and make his own shot? A big time big man to control the boards? What player does this team need?

A big man to get rebounds

This team needs a rebounder and a shot blocker.

Give me Oscar Tshiebwe. That dude was a terror on the boards.

A big man who could protect the paint and rebound, Baker is soft inside and plays timid and Dean hustles and plays hard but does neither of those either

If the question is would you take Shaq or someone else, then the answer is always Shaq. However, that’s rhetorical question.
Maybe it isn’t the case anymore but I feel like the point guard position in college is invaluable, particularly when it comes to the tourney. When games get really tight (as they always do in March), the point guard is a game changer. The point guards that can drive to the hoop
and get to their spot to either distribute the right pass or make a shot are much more valuable than a big man imo. Big men that can grab rebounds are not differentiating and can offensively get bogged down.
This is very different in the NBA however.

For me it boils down to rebounding. This team has been at it's best when they've rebounded.
We just don't have the dudes on this team to do that, but somehow found the formula to overachieve at it for a short stretch and we were the best version of ourselves because of it.
Was it a fluke? Can we recreate it? Or was it an aberration.
I think unfortunately it was so my pick would be to get a dog on the boards.
