Kirby

Kirby Smart gas rebuilt an incredible program at UGA. He's a great recruiter and great at finding player and coaching talent. Probably great with donors also. Is he also an x's an o's guy like Kiffin?

"fit" is the dumbest criteria ever. Just re-hire Orgeron if you want a "fit". And definitely never hire Saban, that guy would never be a "fit" for LSU.

Well, Kelly wasn't really a good "fit." From the start.

Kirby is a modern-day Charles McClendon...............great defenses and no concept of an offensive strategy.

Kelly could have crushed it here He chose not to with lazy coaching hires
I wouldn't call the hires "Lazy." Many of them were totally dysfunctional decisions.

* Bringing in Polian and not retaining Greg McMahon on ST's.
* Retaining Brad Davis.as OL Coach. (WOAT)
* Not retaining Blake Baker and Oneofus Raymond, then hiring Cooks and Steeples.
* Hiring Matt House as DC
* Hiring Joe Sloan as OC.
* Hiring Alex Atkins as TE Coach/RGC.

I don’t like Kirby. Not sure he is trending up anymore either. Kiffin was my first choice and i didn’t expect to get him.

No not in the era of portal and nil management. Not to mention we will always have a good offense and national attention

Kirby has been BLESSED with some of the easiest schedules in recent history. Hell for one for their championship season all the award shows were bragging that his starter only had to play half the games most of the season. Their biggest regular season game for years has been Tennessee. Think about that. Dodged bama & LSU for almost a decade in the regular season outside 2 games. The east has been atrocious since Tebow let’s be honest.
And guess who has the easiest schedule once again based on last years winning percentage in the SEC……..you guessed it. UGA.
