I sat in my office before I came out here thinking about what I am going to say to you Gavin. What do you say to a team with the talent that you have that just has not put it together 3 weeks into the season. Look around at each other. Do you really think we are an 0-3 team? This team does not belong in the position we are in. The problem is that we have no one to blame but you.
We have an opportunity today to turn this season around. From this point, do we go 1-3 or 0-4? What do you want to do? Who do you want to be? Are you going to be that team that stuck their collective foot in the ground and turned upfield taking an 0-3 record, getting back on track for the playoffs? Are you going to be the team that goes 0-4, listening to everyone that said we couldn't do this with everything that went on this off season. You all have to make the decision. It's your choice! What's it gonna be? I know what I think we are going to do. We are going to stick our foot in the ground today, get to 0-4 all the while leaving our footprint on Southeastern. You have done this before and you can do this again. You know what it takes to win....NOW DO IT!

Don't read the comments on Tiger Droppings.

Don't lose a game. Hell hath no fury like an LSU fan after a loss.

Protect the ball at all costs when you're in the red zone.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Stop forcing throws and don’t be afraid to just take a sack and live another day.

I want to see him "pop up" after a big hit like the two QBs that preceded him. No acting like he's all hurt, injured, etc. I know I'll get DV'd to death, but he needs to get tougher, especially if he tucks and runs a bit, because he'll be popped a few times for sure.

Stay away from those Cavinder twins.

I would tell him, that he and his coaches know far more than anyone on an internet message board... and he should listen to them, not me...
(or any of you!)
Then I would tell him good luck!

Make your reads and deliver a strike. Tuck it and run when the opportunity presents itself. A 1st down, moving the sticks, is what we want.

I'd tell him go wherever JD5 went during the summer of his senior year and learn whatever he learned to become great.

Run the ball Nuss when there is a gaping hole and then get down.
And, oh Nuss, ignore everything any of us say on this board.

Trust in yourself, coaches and teammates. Don't try to win every game at once. Stay away from the internet especially TD.

Call your own red-zone plays.
