If we win the Natty, does Oeaux become the highest paid coach?

Does LSU still put that in the contract that he’ll get $1 more than the current highest paid coach in CFB?
Just wondering how that will work now that we are paying our DC and Brady so much money?

Doubtful, but he should get a bump up to 5 mil a year at least.
His structure is still to have the best coordinators on both sides of the ball. Can't do that if you're paying the HC 10 mil a year.

I dont believe so.
Hanny and Ott were talking about it yesterday and pretty much said the days of the stipulation in a contract making a coach the highest paid is over, because the salaries have become outrageous and it would be insane to keep one upping every year.

Hopefully LSU had enough sense not to include that provision in any contract.

He doesn’t need to be. He would coach LSU for free.

He has incentives for 10 wins, 11 wins, 12, SECCG, CFP appearance and natty.

part of the plan to have the highest paid staff in the country is to somewhat accept a bit moderated salary. He deserves to be top 8 for sure.
