Hell, Cal, Pearl, Pitino, Harrick....don't think hiring "disgraced" and "toxic" coaches has been an issue for a lot of folks.

Baseball DOES NOT produce more revenue than men's basketball at LSU. The fiscal report was released a few weeks ago.

And that is with men's basketball ABSOLUTELY SUCKING HIND TIT, and baseball ROLLING.

There probably aren't many d-1 schools, and CERTAINLY not any power 5s that have their baseball producing more revenue than men's basketball.

shite none of those had someone murder someone in their program and then keep players around. Nate Oats is worse than anyone and the guy is still around.

There is no factual basis for saying that Wade was "one of the best CBB coaches ever." He hasn't even coached enough time to make that statement.

It never ceases to amaze me how much hype the guy has.

Will Wade would hardly set that precedent. Relatively recent hires like Kelvin Sampson or Bruce Pearl were really no different.

That precedent has already been set. See:

1. Bruce Pearl at Auburn
2. Mike Jarvis at Florida Atlantic
3. Pokey Chapman...albeit to the WNBA where that type of thing is probably happening more than we know.
4. Rick Pitino at Iona
5. John Calipari literally everywhere

Hell, Xavier hired Sean Miller in March while the Arizona case has still yet to be decided.

ALL that matters in major college sports is winning...despite what the usual white-knight virtue signalers here and in the media want to say. No program hangs on to a losing coach for several years simply because he is a "good guy". Do you think Houston really gives a shite some in the media spoke negatively of them upon their hiring of Kelvin Sampson...a guy who had NCAA infractions at TWO prior schools (Oklahoma and Indiana)?

The usual virtue signalers we have on here will be the same ones calling for "good guy" McMahon's job in 2-3 years when he has a grand total of 6 SEC wins. By all accounts Paul Maineri was a "good guy". That didn't stop many from wanting him gone because he wasn't winning enough.

Cut the bullshite. Major college sports are ENTERTAINMENT. That's it. And no one is entertained by losing. Xavier hired a guy still under investigation. That same guy will be taking them to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 6 years. I'd say their fans are pretty pleased with that decision.

If you have a real shot to land Chris Beard you clear the deck, look up where the Final Four is in a few years, and consider booking a hotel room in that city. Despite what they will say, the morality police will also enjoy the view from their high horse.

I've begrudgingly come to accept the fact that LSU admin and bigwigs could give a shite less about LSU MBB. It's pathetic and sad.

The only thing I think that may finally get some fists shaking is if Bama wins a NC in Bball so that's what I'm quietly rooting for.

Maybe then, this admin will see how much potential and money that windfalls over a successful basketball program.

Allegedly. Was Beard caught on tape or video?

Dana white was & people still gave him a pass. For some reason, I guess some people think it’s okay to hit a woman if she hits you first.

The police report makes it obvious that Beard beat her. You don’t need video evidence

MM was a massive mistake especially giving him A 7 year powerball contract.

Bruce Pearl had a show cause penalty he served and was unemployed during that time. If Wade skates, it will render NCAA powerless. That won't happen.

What if he allegedly punched the woman cuz she wouldn't pay the players? Is that some kind of Woke double standard we could use to find a loophole?

Will Wade was never a 'Toxic' coach as you have him labeled.

You keep preaching this as fact with literally zero evidence.

And you keep thinking otherwise without evidence. Prolly thought ole Will would still be at LSU too.

Auburn already hired Freeze, if someone wants to hire Wade they'll have 0 issue outside of possibly media backlash

The report was from the time when Wade was here and winning and baseball was down idiot.

But when basketball is good it will produce more revenue than when baseball is good just because they get more money from NCAA and TV contracts

Agreed, what was once a violation is now not a violation if done the proper way.

Punching women will always be wrong.

Instead of Beard, we should just hire Wade back.
