At least Troy football had actually won games before playing us in 2017 (and ended up with a good record).

It's an ugly loss, but I don't think you understand much about baseball.

Comparatively, he would have to go 0-6 vs Nicholls this year for it to be the same thing.

All kidding aside, I am curious what our record in midweek games is including last year

Prob around .500-.600 I'm guessing

Didn't we literally lose 6-7 games last year against programs like Nichols (mid week games)?

Do you even kinda see the difference between playing 70+ games per year and playing a dozen?

Thing is, that was during the middle of the year and this is the 5th game of the year with a lot of inexperience. Also, its not we have dependable guys pithing. That doesn't excuse the hitting tonight, but it's not really comparable to Troy because it's a lot easier to have an off night in baseball than it is in football. Couple bounces here and there and we with this game. Dont get too worked up over it.

We lost 4, some of them to better teams, some to worse (than Nicholls)

Answer this for me:

How many games does the baseball team play in the regular season?

Uhhhh no. Baseball doesn’t equal football. Sorry you think so but the game is not the same. Any college baseball team is capable of beating the best college baseball every single year.

That is why baseball is meant to be played in series.

Enough with that baseball shite!
Our offense always stinks under Paul!
Dominant teams have 3 good starting pitchers! When was the last time we had that? Closest I can remember was poche, Lang, and walker honestly we were fortunate to have Walker that year. So yea Paul sucks.

Yeah idk why people get so defensive after ridiculous midweek losses in baseball when softball manages to win them with about the same number of games...

So then what's the reason the softball team can't win championships?
