Moves on to what?

Reasons Kiffin would leave LSU:
1. He is let go b/c he isn't winning.
2. He retires.
3. Involved in a scandal big enough to get him fired.

The NFL? You know, he wants a crack at it again.

Ok. So who do you hire now? He is probably the best offensive coach in the country. Pair him up with a solid d-coordinator and that's a great formula for success.

It would be nice to have a coach that other teams want again. We haven't had that since Saban.

Alabama went from Bear Bryant to a guy that was never a head coach before.

Florida State went from Bobby Bowden to a guy that was never a head coach before.

Penn State went from Joe Paterno to a guy that was never a head coach before.

that’s 3 off the top my head

Bowden may have been behind Paterno at time of retirement. I don’t remember for sure.

This is exactly why I hope he stays at OM. Please Verge go after Dilly. We don’t need more drama over here nor a contract that we will surely not be able to get of in 4-5 years.
If he does come, I hope he proves me wrong.

Don't even care to read all this. You don't worry about what may or may not happen down the road.

You do what's best now. Period.

If Kiffin is desirable enough for someone else to try and poach from LSU then that means LSU is having tremendous success and I'll happily take that.

And if he's having that kind of success at LSU then I don't think he would leave for anywhere, but if he did then LSU would be in a great position for another great coach.

I don't know how any LSU fan would not want a tremendous offensive coach like Kiffin at LSU.

We've seen how special LSU can be with great QB play. Why would anyone not want one of the best QB friendly coaches out there?

I mean… no?

Penn State went from Joe Pa (winning best coach all time) to Bill O’Brian who never came close to winning his conference.

Bowden had to have been up there and they replaced him with Jimbo who had never been a HC

Lane Kiffin won his division in 2011 but they were on probabtion and won CUSA twice.
