re: If I was Kelly then I'd make it clear we're only recruiting run/pass option QB's.

Jones is the only one without mobility

And that was an odd year and he had a roster loaded with speedsters

You fricking idiot. What plays their coaches called isn’t relevant, it’s about their skill set. Both of those guys were way more than capable of hurting you with their legs.

Stetson Bennett had 10 rushing TDs in 2022 for gods sake

Do you really think Nussmeier doesn’t have “mobility”?

Brother, it ain’t all about rushing yards. It’s about extending plays and eluding pressure.

I'd call him a QB killer
Coming off a season where he coached a QB that won the Heisman and practically every other award a QB could win

Scrambling qb’s rarely win the NC, Cam and Vince young are about the only two, but they were rare because they were great throwers, at least at the college level. And for great running qh’s, like Cam for example, the system was designed to be tricky, almost like an option qb. Very similar to Urban Meyers offense

That is dumb. You can grab a passer with the talent of Marino or Peyton, you grab him.

Well he transferred to Vandy.

He beat Auburn last year as well at New Mexico.

What a qb does next year isn’t going win you games this year.

Bo Wallace was 3-1 against msu. Dak never beat OM as a starter.

Daks a nfl veteran, but Bad Bo won more college games.
