rown's numbers are ridiculous. You have to admit that.
Numbers are good but a deeper dive shows you that against good teams with talent he will see this year, he isn't as ridiculous, no?

Mizzu dominated the SEC teams in rushing last season so maybe Mizzu if Simmons is the real deal.
Simmons was not much of a running threat last year. He's not slow, but he isn't quick. If Mizzu can protect him in the pocket he has a rocket of a arm though.

Now do Byrum Brown and Cobb
Brown against 3 ranked teams last year had 44 attempts for 111 yards and 2 TDS. about 2.5 yards a carry.
Sneaky good?
re: Favorite SEC football coach you have met

Billy Brewer.. At a dinner sat next to him, where he dogged on Hugh Freeze for running shotgun formations on short yardage plays.
Nick Saban when he was at LSU. You could tell he could be a a-hole, but was actually decent to be around.
Hugh Freeze- Actually liked the guy
Matt Luke- really cool guy.
Dan Mullens- One of the biggest pricks you will meet.

Did Yaw Yaw ever get hired on anywhere after running LSU into the ground? Even as an assistant coach?
He is positioning himself to be the interm coach at some point when LK leaves or tanks. He is a cockroach, just survives!

He went 5-6 his last two years and had already pissed off Frank. Other than ND in 1988 he was just an avg coach that was a great motivator
went 9-2-1 in 82 and 6-5 in 83 and got shite canned.
Then he went 100-30-2 at Notre Dame for a decade.
I guess if you take out the 6 year run when he went 64-9-1 and the 7 top 10 finishes over his career, then yea, meh average.

Why can’t OM hang onto good coaches?
Tell me about why Lou Holtz was fired for winning 73.5% of the ball games he coached in while at Arkansas?

The team that wins usually wins this "contest" and WVU while a good squad isn't likely to stick around long enough.
I believe the winner of the jello shot is usually the national champion, in most cases anyways.

I’d take a L in the eggbowl every year, which is basically what’s happened for msu since modern era football, and make the playoffs.

If he had his personal life in order the year before he had the team to really win it.

y'all are making it sound like he jumped ship for HIS payday,
yall... Don't think many OM said he left for more money. OM was his longest tenure, stayed longer then I thought he would. Longer than most of us thought he would.
He just doesn't know how to leave without throwing a few gallons of gas on the walls and flicking a match as he walks out.
