He is helping fund your worst nightmare currently…and didn’t even graduate from LSU. Gotta love it lol

So he’d know if a decision was made? Ha ha

And would he know what is going on behind the scenes at LSux? Asking for a friend.

Heard that rumor as well.

State of Alabama. Lord, do better!
They meet every day. For hot yoga.

Big nothing burger, like 99% of what has been reported so far

A Texas alum thinks the most coveted HC in america right now would accept his school right away? Whoa. Earth shattering stuff here. Interesting.

Two jobs that would be instant yes's from Kiffin have always been Texas and Alabama. That has been known.

If he were to go to LSU. If either one of those opens, you better believe the Kiffin circus would open back up.

Title was ranked.

And Vandy is not a top 10, unless you are counting what they were when you played them?

Here is the week 2 top 10 listing sec schools
LSU
UGA
Texas
South Carolina

Bitching about the schedule at the end of the year. Helps to not suck.. Speaking to you LSU, South Carolina and Florida!

Oh frick off with that Harvard of the South bullshite.

Ole Miss' ranked teams were Oklahoma (W)
Other being #9 Georgia which they lost.

Well Tulane is ranked.

And in what world would Vandy be a better team than LSU? I blame this on LSU sucking.

I want him just to see how bad the melt is by OM fans...especially after throwing all the money yall have at him

Funny enough, OM and LSU endowment are about the same, if not slightly favoring OM.

Old Money>new money
Lane is going to Lane. What man would leave a team in the playoffs, and there is no way OM allows him to coach without a firm agreement in place.

If he does leave, whatever team that gets him, get ready for this shite every year. Texas and Alabama will open sooner than later and here we go!
What time are we checking our phones today?

He thought Ryan could help him out. Is his assessment worth a shite?

He’s 10-1… 3rd time in 4 years with 10 wins. Outside of Bama and Uga how many sec teams have 3 10 wins in 4 years? Not many

Doing something right?

People will laugh but didnt he break the Billy getting fired?

Was that a big scoop? The dude predicts a lot, and it gets deleted when he misses.

One of them also knows someone in the AD at Ole Miss and heard something similar.

From everything I’ve heard, Ole Miss feels like they’ve answered every single ask he’s made. Whatever Lane wanted, they’ve shown him exactly how they’ll get it done. They also have the family angle locked in. And the staff members he’d want to bring with him to Florida? Several have made it clear they’d prefer to stay at Ole Miss.

But there is a big-picture element Florida fans need to understand:

In two years, Ole Miss loses its ace card. His kids will be out of Oxford—graduated or in college somewhere else.

Right now, the present-day Lane Kiffin wants to stay. He’s genuinely happy. But the Lane who looks 3–5 years down the road? He’s asking himself whether Oxford still feels the same when his kids aren’t here anymore.

That’s the real tension in this whole thing..

And another one….

Should be a welcome distraction from the burning dumpster fire in Baton Rouge right now.

I just don't know how someone could possibly CHOOSE to live in Mississippi if they weren't forced to.

I’ve lived in multiple states, and like anywhere else, Mississippi has spots that aren’t great and spots that are really damn nice.

Making a broad statement like “who would choose to live in Mississippi” is just ignorantly lazy.

But hey — if you need a little help, even USA Today ranks Oxford as one of the best small towns in the country:

The confidence came from 2 of your 247 writers causing your fanbase to break down by telling them Lane was going to leave.

The guy that made the statement has said from the beginning, "what is true on Monday, may not be true on Tuesday"

He has since posted this

-- A source close to the process told me this morning Kiffin is nowhere close to a decision, adding that the new calendar basically has everyone sailing in uncharted waters. Source said Florida boosters' assertions that a deal to bring Kiffin to Florida is "done," are simply inaccurate.

-- Multiple sources close to the Ole Miss program have told me over the past 24 hours that several football staff people have told Kiffin they have no interest in going to Gainesville and prefer staying at Ole Miss.

It looks like the gators have really blown the wad prematurely on this one!

Tell me you hate Auburn, without telling me you hate Auburn...

Love Auburn, great game day.

Big stadium, recruiting is usually up there. Heisman's.
If you look back at 2022, the entire national conversation was, “Auburn is the better job — bigger brand, bigger stadium, more money, more history.” Lane Kiffin turned it down anyway, and at the time a lot of people thought he was crazy.

Now in 2025, did he make the right decision professionally?

100% was the right decision on the personal/family side.
