No. It would buy him some time though

Sure. But I put the odds up there with winning the lottery.

The delusion is strong in this one.

You have to admit, that would be sweet. But I just can't see it right now.

If the Troy game has a silver lining, it has to be an SEC championship which shows consistency. Not just ONE game! We don't wanna be the Troy that pulled a one game wonder once in a while.

I would take a bama upset win and not care if we won another game until next year

Teams that lose to Troy do not beat teams like Bama. It would be the upset of the year. It's not happening. We'll be lucky if we beat Tennessee. LUCKY.

No but if he would resign at the end of the year for $5 m lump sum, then all would be forgiven

We just lost at home to a team that has barely squeaked out wins vs the mighty Akron and New Mexico State, and you actually think we have a chance to go on the road and beat a team that's won their first 2 SEC games 59-0 and 66-3?

We'll be lucky to keep it within 30. Besides Auburn, I don't know of any other team Alabama would get more enjoyment in running up a score on than LSU.

Next 2 games are critical. If the We Lose the next two games, things will begin to move. Making a bowl game is the only way he can save his job.

The way things look now, LSU beating Bama next month in Tuscaloosa would be one of the biggest upsets in the history of college football.

It would be immensely satisfying to beat them and ruin their season but we still need a coaching change.

I realize the OP is asking a hypothetical question, but I"m convinced Alabama will beat us by at least 30. By the time we play them, the death spiral will be at full speed.
