Perrilloux was a great QB when he got to LSU, without the ouside issues, I think he's one of if not the best ever at LSU, don't think Narcisse is the same caliber.

Might as well cut him now, it sounds like he can barely walk.

Exactly! The doctors on here have diagnosed him as an invalid cripple. One has upped his ACLs to 3.

The LSU doctors who have cleared him are subject to medical malpractice for giving him the go ahead to resume his career. The doctors on the Rant know better, even without an examination. The Rant doctors' prognosis is that Narcisse will never recover from his injuries. That is unless he changes positions.

Poster above correctly noted burrows will be finding out who is who. So adding plays for qb2 might take focus from qb #1 issues. And I'd like to see qb development too.

So much depends on early success..

We're not going to shelve a player like saban would do. (and pull his scholarship)

from watching the spring game, I think I would like to see McMillan in that role. He has some wheels.

People are worried about Brennan tacking sacks but no one seems to y’all about how McMillan looks like 5 pounds heavier and runs more often.

In theory, I always like the idea of bringing a runner in to do the Periloux or Tebow shite and run some option. Problem here is Narcise has a different skill set than the above mentioned and isn’t a pure runner. We don’t have enough film on him to know whether he can make the pitch and the right reads and protect the football. He has no legit playing time. I would guess so if he can do the above mentioned.

Not until Brennan is the qb. In 2 years, then narcisse would be a nice contrast

The sports illustrated story quoting Perrilloux’s mom saying he was crying after winning a championship against Ohio State because he didn’t get enough plays in the game is probably the most immature crap I’ve ever heard. Over ten years later just blows me away that he was the only player late or to no show for the first team meeting in January following the championship too. Hope Narcisse is a lot more mature than Perrilloux was when he was in college.

With all the points we are going score this year...Brennan and Narcisse will have plenty of mop up time.

Seriously.....Burrow needs every snap.
Even Nick SBan never took the starting QB out of the game.
These are still kids with very little playing time.
They at not 8 year veterans.

IF?

I don't care what smoke the coaches or anyone else tries to blow up our arse, Joe is the starter game one unless a injury takes him down. He didn't agree to come here to sit on the fricking bench and we didn't go get him because we needed a back up.

I don't think Matt Flynn was looking over his shoulder. He just knew that that package wasn't designed for him.

And Flynn could run, too. Pretty similar set up imo

Orgeron also suggested that a wildcat package could be built around Lowell Narcisse, a 6-2, 231-pound redshirt freshman who is returning from two ACL injuries. “Narcisse is probably one of the most talented linebacker — looks like a linebacker — quarterbacks that we’ve had,” Orgeron said. “He’s a bull. He can run the football.”

Perriloux I think was more of a threat throwing as well because he was pretty accurate. I could see it being more WareCat with Narcisse. He definitely can run that's for sure. I'm sure the old Tebow play is in his arsenal too.

Burrow is a bit thicker and I think a better runner than Flynn.

I wouldn’t mind seeing what Narcisse can do though. Why not. Jump pass on goal line.

We need to develop LN and a small step may be a couple of designed plays per game. We will have a good opportunity week 2 to get him some PT.
no. You play the best QB and he gets all the snaps. If we're in a blowout, give the backups some 4th quarter reps.

But you go with your horse. A 2 QB system doesn't work.

I want it if it makes us better. In 2007 it made us better and it gave
RPmexperience needed that enabled us to not have a drop off the
two games he played when Flynn was hurt.

If LN is that good of a runner and a good enough passer to keep the
defense honest, then it could be a good thing
