Why this is the rant... you will get 20+ downvotes just for mentioning Les Miles

Born this dumb or take lessons?

its hard to argue that. LSU's defense will slow down bama, but bama's defense is always SO good and SO deep...
contrast that to LSU's offense. even though it is refreshed and revamped and SANE finally, i'll have to see it to believe it. last night we didn't see enough of what canada plans to do.
when clemson beat bama they barely did it and they had an extremely effective and mobile qb

Way to take a day to celebrate LSU and turn it into something negative.

The LSU offense we saw last night would not move the ball against Alabama and Bama probably gets a defensive or special teams score

LSU showed little and they are young
Didny have to show much.. Bama threw the Kitchen Sink at FSU..... That game was ALOT closer than the score... While LSU'S 27-0 margin is not even close to how we dominated them... 97 TOTAL yards and didn't cross the 50.. Is FSU better than BYU???? Sure they are.......

I really hate how obsessed with Bama some of y'all are. My god it's week 1 and we don't play until November
You don't beat Bama in November, you don't see the playoffs. A team we haven't beaten in the last 5 years. Of course people are looking ahead to November. It's a season derailer or maker every year.

No way in hell that piss poor offense Bama has is putting up 17 points on this defense.

I wasn't impressed with LSU's offense but I was pleased with how they managed the game.
#1 LSU took what BYU gave them and didn't try to get too cute, i.e. pass just to pass.
#2 LSU did well protecting Etling especially with the young kids playing so much.
#3 LSU didn't commit any turn overs. Etling was very heady and composed!
#4 Etling was accurate, though IMO his comp% was better than the eye test.
#5 WR's made plays, specifically Dillon and Gage did well.
#6 D Williams is more of a weapon this year, quicker and with better vision.
#7 I like the pre snap movement and feel like LSU will use more of the options available from it once the players get more comfortable with it.
#8 The execution on offense is better than I've seen from LSU in years, especially for the 1st game!

If Mempihis and LSU were to play LSU would win 56-0

Any time you start a thread with this, you even know how dumb of a thread it is.
The post was actually praising LSU, but I knew that any assessment of where we stood now that had us as less that Alabama would be downvoted no matter where we end up.

This is really dumb this early on

Let's see, Alabama generated a whole 269 yards of total offense while allowing 250 yards. Meanwhile, LSU generated 479 of total yard while allowing just 97 yards, but according to you if Alabama and LSU played today Alabama would win 17-0.
Excuse me if I dimiss you as a lunatic.
Is it drugs or drinking, how do people get this mentally handicapped?

This LSU team is young, well coached, and has a ton of potential. By the time the two teams play, LSU will be ready to beat them. I'm confident of it.
So you basically admit that this thread is entirely pointless. Boo, sir.

I have ZERO problem saying Bama would beat us RIGHT NOW... However A shutout is A bit overboard......... And to be fair.. Bama's offense was NOT that dominating last night.... RIGHT NOW LSU ha A better defense than FSU...IMO.......

You have to understand that the offense is still coming together under a new system. LSU showed way less of the play book than Bama did against FS. The offense will shine more once we get into the SEC schedule.
