Yeah, he threw his little jab in at LSU. I hope Ohio State rails that arse tonight!

I was against ANYONE bringing back players that participated in anything in the NFL, so I didn’t like when Lane did it either (because I’m not a hypocrite).

BUT, what I am pissed about is the media and the SEC vilifying Lane, like he was the only one to do it. Then threaten to boot LSU out……..OK are you going to boot Texas out as well? Why weren’t they threatened?

I can’t stand mother frickers talking out of both sides of their mouth.

I do like the way Lane stood strong, and the way that Jeff Landry and John Kennedy had his back.

It’s not hard to figure out. Sark and Texas are going through the NCAA not the SEC. Their battle is with them as Hustin did not sign a contract with a pro team. Lane had guys who signed contracts wanting to come back and battled that with the SEC not NCAA. All in all, Texas bent a knee to NCAA and did it legally and quietly.

, but they won’t. Texas came in under preferred status
We can continue to build and have a premier program in another conference or no conference. Or we can continue life in step child status. Don’t need to get out immediately. Simmer things down with “stanky” & co. Make a strategic exit in the next couple years.
Step child status will never change ….

Only question is, do we want to continue living like this.

What would Lane do …. IDK.

He signed a bunch of paperwork and would’ve stayed in camp if he were good enough.

They mentioned at the start of the program that they were holding him out. I guess UT didn't want any controversy with the monologue Cruz delivered.

Why did the SEC make rules explicitly allowing players the BCAA said were ineligible? That is the issue.

They were not drawing some line in the sand. They were going after one school and one coach.

Hutson is ruled eligible according to game day today. As well as ASU running back.

He was just ruled ineligible and he was rostered prior to that.

no fricking way will I ever pull for SEC teams ever again. frick them all. If LSU can’t win it all I hope the Big 10 continues its dominance. Maybe then everyone will see we have a midget as a leader.
