I'd be surprised if we didn't win 10 games next year.

We very easily could have won 10 games this year, even with a depleted roster. A little better QB play and a bit more competent coaching and we could have beaten UCLA, Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas. Of course, the record we had is the record we deserved, but I'm just saying that was the worst Tiger team we've seen in decades and either had a better team or were in the game at the end in all but two of our games. Kentucky and Ole Miss were the only ones out of reach.

Looking at this roster and coaching staff, if they gel together, 10 wins is definitely a possibility. Of course, it could be less, but we will have the team for a really good season NEXT YEAR. I don't think that has been the expectation so I wanted to put it out there. This team can be very good.

Complete overhaul on coaches and roster

Playing in the toughest conference

Playing in the toughest division of said conference

This is the issue with this board, many think we’re getting these transfers and that’s great, but if we don’t win 10+ games it’s fire the coach

Be thankful if we improve over 6-6. Lower your expectations, and the upcoming season will be more enjoyable.

You can say the same thing about the wins though. We barely beat miss st , beat atm on a historically good game winning drive, and absolute dog fight with Florida where neither team could get a stop. We earned 6-6 as much as we could this yr. Arkansas and bama we felt like better team, but still couldn't move the ball at all.

Expecting 10 wins yr 1 with a mashed together roster and 32 likely new faces is a lot. Hoping for 8-4, ability to run the ball some again, and not lead the nation in offensive line combinations. Continuity and player buy in most important in yr 1

Not out of the realm of possibility. Will be favored in all of the OOC games. October is what will make or break the season. All 4 of those games are toss ups right now imo.

I'm a pumper every year, but we have a lot of question marks. Not to be a debbie downer, but:

- Brand new HC
- Brand new OC
- Brennan has been out of football for a long time.
- We don't have a proven RB.
- We don't have a proven TE.
- The OL will be brand new.
- Brand new DC
- Brand new starters (for us) in the secondary

Yeah, I never said that. I'm saying we have good reason to be optimistic. It might not work out. The ball might bounce funny ways. Who knows? But, I'd rather go through the offseason looking at this roster and coaching staff and believing we have a chance for a good season than just be pessimistic all the time. I also want to be a realist, but I really do think we will have a chance for a good season if things go the right way.

At no point did I write or say, "If not, fire the coach."

Just going to expect the worst and hope for the best. It's going to be a brand new team and year.

Every position group on offense will be good to very good. If Kelly made the right OC hire, the offense will keep them in every game.

Defensive line will be very good. Linebackers are a question mark, but they have the athletes to potentially be good.

The secondary could be a major weakness. At best that group could be an average SEC secondary. If secondary can be average, 10 wins is very doable

That's fair. I get that 8-4 is more likely, to split the middle between last year and where we could be headed in 2023. But, I think we'll have the team where 10-2 is a possibility. Heck, I think we had the team for 10-2 this year if Brennan didn't get hurt and if half the team didn't get hurt or quit.

I won't be upset if it doesn't happen. I'm just saying I won't be surprised if it does.

I hope you're right, but I see it this way:

- I think we can win 7-8 (not bad with AU, FL, ATM, & Arky on the road! FSU, too.)

- We need to win at least 6 for morale, recruiting, etc.

- I will shocked if we can pull off 9+ with that schedule.

I will bet ANY amount of money you want that we do not finish the regular season with 10 wins.

That might be asking a lot. I think we’ll definitely be improved, but 10 wins is steep. 8-4 seems right and 9-3 would be awesome.

I expect 8-4. Anything more is a blessing. All things considered. It still takes time for players and coaches to begin to mesh. I think that takes more than just a few months. I want to see this team play with passion again. I don’t mind a few hard fought losses if the players develop and the team gets better as the year goes on.

Don’t do this to yourself. We are rebuilding and next year will be an 8-4 to 9-3 type season.

If BK wins 10 next year, then he’s a much much better coach than any of us could have ever hoped.

2023 should be a 10 win season.

It will happen once we get a center, tight end and another corner.

We will duplicate what Michigan State did and possibly win the West.

Come on. You said you’d be SHOCKED IF WE DIDNT WIN 10.

That doesn’t mean hey it might work out. It means you are expecting and implies significant disappointment if we don’t.
