I would never want to play a team after something happens that gets them excited and wanting to prove something. Now add the talent that LSU has and it becomes a nightmare for the opponent. It may only last one game but Mizzou drew the short straw this week.

I hope it last all season and LSU wrecks shop and runs the table. I believe!

I hope we are able to implement a new style in a week - all I know is Tiger Stadium will be rocking.

T-Bob said all the plays are there and are practiced every week but we only run a few of them.

I read somewhere that its going to be the same plays but made simpler. Most likely going to actually use some plays we've practiced but never ran too

Any win would make a lot of folks feel somewhat better...and help smooth out some hard feelings...we need the fan base to come back together if possible...

We don't have to change as much as people think. All we need to do is allow Etling to pass out of shotgun formation/three-four wr sets a bit more than sticking with play-action passes over 60% of the time. If we throw it 25-30 times, 20-25 of those need to NOT be off play-action. This will allow Etling more time to progress through his reads and have more receiving options.

Les was afraid to put the game in his QB's hands and that is ultimately what I believe got him canned.

I think you guys are awfully confident. You really think a new coaching staff can pull the locker room together in a week with all the distractions going on regarding the coaches.

Mizzou is getting better every game. Their offense is for real. If Mizzou has less than 2 turnovers and less than 5 penalties than they are going to put up 35+ points. Do you guys really think LSU is ready to put up 30-40 points?

If Mizzou gets a lead early it will quiet the crowd somewhat and I think LSU will be ready to fold if they get behind.

Alabama will be a little flustered too. If our O-Line steps up a little, the defense is already lights out, they don't give up long drives, play makers on offense, Bama will probably be ok with one Loss to us and go to Atlanta...but coming in here won't be a picnic. We're that team that doesn't give a frick, with nothing to lose. You want no part of games like that.

I am just saying that I think this game is going to be a lot closer than you think it will be. If I am wrong than you can call me on it. The atmosphere will be awesome on Saturday and I hope a competitive game lives up to the atmosphere.

It'll be a close game. We're still feeling out what we can actually do on offense, imho
