I suppose that's a tribute to how good this program is and the high standard it sets.

The standards now that Maineri has set is having the fans jerking off after winning the SEC Tournament then shitting the bed in the real post season cause the team's not prepared to do shite after the no. 1 & 2 pitchers are done.

Anyone else tired of seeing teams come here and beat us in the manner pre-paul lsu teams played?

They exceeded expectations this year. No one on this planet thought in April that we would be hosting postseason play at the box.

Why does it matter ? What has PM done with the strait 5 national seeds. what are your expectations? If you are happy with a national seed and going 0-2 and 1-2 in Omaha if you even get there then PM is your guy. With the support and facilities LSU has I would consider the job PM has done since 09 a C.

I don't know why you repeatedly hammer maineri for surrounding himself with elite assistants

Because when people praise our head coach they always mention "and staff". With other head coaches you know that they're the reason.

I think CPM is pure junk with great assistants and great players. I feel that nearly every coach we face is better and out coaches him. I feel that he plays favorites. I feel that he's holding LSU back.

I'm not a "fire the coach" guy, Les can stay till he's 80, but every fiber of my being tells me CPM is wrong for LSU.

Coach Andy C is the reason for the hitting.

To an extent. You can't control or coach some things. In the box, the hitters are their own coaches unless you get a specific sign to not swing.

Can he coach them to hit a run in when the bases are loaded twice in one game?

I agree

Players unable to get a fricking hit during the 100 chances they were given is reason season is over.
A fricking sac fly or two would have been enough. Geeeeez.

one of the best 1-2 pitching combos in LSU history.
Not even close.

Lange wasn't close to his dominance last year, and Poche was gutsy as usual but very inconsistent. Their performances this year put them far down the list of starting combos.

Seeing the sec get bounced makes me feel these teams were not as good as it seems. Seems like LSU finished around where they should have and the sec looked weak as shite.

It was a solid job by PM and staff this year considering all that was lost from last year and the struggles of the pitching staff which was supposed to carry this team.

Worst coaching job in Game 1 of Super Regional though, especially with decision of removing Bugg down only two runs. Saving pitching in that game cost you a chance to win the first game. PM actually got outcoached in the aggressiveness game and baserunning was poor all year.
