College baseball used to be very different. All you have to do is look at the other national seeds to see that.

PM is a good coach, but being at LSU has made him look better than he really is. And, by the way, he owes Les a debt of gratitude for his CWS win, because without Jarrod Mitchell and Chad Jones that never happens.

Now if only he can find an experienced 3rd base coach for next year, we'll be alright.

Sure why not? They were fun times. No one else got to experience it ever.

Go to sleep, man. I've read some dumb comments, but that takes the cake.

Les gets credit for baseball championship, but not football...

I would agree with OP overall. CPM definitely got this team further than anyone expected.

That said, he was BADLY out coached this weekend.

My only comment is that our players seemed to not be playing with confidence - a bit lost.

Deichmann really stepped up at the end, others faltered. You need a killer instinct at this stage.

as long as the current regime is in charge I doubt little if any changes will be made...that's a problem, PM accepts just above average

the result is good, but when you watch how he coaches during the game, it's just terrible.

How can this be true?

This LSU team overachieved this year. I am surprised that they earned a national seed. 45 wins in a rebuilding year is above average. 19 SEC wins is damn good for having lost 8 starters from 2015.

I believe next season will be better and the program will return to Omaha. The boys should be proud of how they played this year !

I agree with you. Wasn't perfect, but overall with this team, we went farther than anyone would have predicted. It was a fun ride. Omaha will be sad and so am I.
