Jay Johnson is in charge of this program and I am grateful he is. I believe that JJ will get this team playing as well as they can by May. What I fear is that the talent on this team is not championship talent nor has it ever been.

Jay needs already developed first-third rounders to win (and top 5 overall picks to really win big), the good thing is that he has the resources to land those types from time to time he just needs to do a better job of consistently picking them out of the portal.

The fault is the guy who won you 2 NCs in 3 years. You gonna say he’s arse when he misses in a year? When Nick Saban missed at Bama did ppl question him?

Where did I say he was arse? We're talking about assigning blame for this team's performance so far. For some reason you don't think he deserves any. Saying he's done a poor job so far this season doesn't mean he didn't do well in 2/3 years before.

Do you seriously think we don’t have private donors or boosters that pay baseball players? These kids aren’t 100% exclusively getting paid through rev share

Jay Johnson isnt Nick Saban. Saban coached in a sport where everyone is 100% in.
Johnson coaches college baseball. Most of the colleges he competes against don’t care at all about baseball which should make it EASY to win at a place like LSU.
Jay Johnson is more Dave Roberts. Given the resources invested in the Dodgers compared to other teams, if Roberts doesn’t get to the NLCS or World Series his seat will get hot it doesn’t matter what he did in the past. Same with Johnson and even Moreso bc Johnson is the GM of the team as well as manager

Jay missed big time in the portal this year. Caraway, Dardar, Simpson are not performing. Stats prove it. Is Pearson hurt, why hasn’t he had at bats since ULL.

This team is eat up with a serious virus. For the first time since Skip Bertman took the reins as coach of LSU baseball, an LSU team is below average, and could finish a season below .500 in the conf. AND overall. To put this team in perspective, it's actually worse at its craft than men's basketball -- that team ranks #61 Kenpom and #77 NET.
