I watched a few minutes of Jarvis Landry and Leonard Fournette discussing the game.

One talking point that stood out to me was LSU has no swag, and you could tell by body language that Bama just wanted it more. Their energy from the coaching staff to the players was there. In their words that’s not LSU football bro. We never seem to have that intensity that hair on fire mentality that other teams do. Bama was prepared and LSU wasn’t.

Bama is always prepared. LSU fans and players should always expect a loss vs Bama.

Yep. It was like our buttholes were tight the whole night as soon as they scored first. It was from the fanbase to the coaches and players.

The best comment I heard on the Eagle post game show was it seems LSU and Lane don't expect to win big games. Look at this year and it seems like it for sure. The teams they expect to dominate they do it and have a different energy from the kickoff. After the first drive last night me and the guys in the stands said we are in trouble as you can see the body language. How do you change that mentality.

one of the many fun outcomes of the BK era.
Lane will get it back.
Lane will get it back.

Players only care about NIL money and getting paid. It’s not a team sport anymore. Quit going and paying an outrageous fortune for games if you want it to change.

This is what Lane meant when he said "This is the least talented team he will ever have at LSU." It's reasonable to believe that this true with how short a window he and his coaching staff had to get a team on the field for this season.

Until WE get the line of scrimmage right again.. we will continue to beat our heads into the walls. Box score proves it last night. You moved the ball at will until you got into the red area and froze up. Bama was 3-3 with 21 points in that category.. that’s the difference between good and bad teams.

Hopefully it’s the least talented coaching staff he’ll have as well. Because they failed last night just as much as the players.

Unfortunately this is a meaningless season. We won’t see who Kiffin really is until he gets a real offensive line. Defense has been fairly solid but could use a few more pieces as well. Next year is when I’ll start truly judging the identity of his LSU teams.

Check the all time record. Bama is sad they're losing an automatic win every season.

The Bama #5 ranking had the whole country talking shite about how Bama didn't deserve a #5 ranking.
Coaches love that shite. They use it to great effect and I'm sure the Bama staff made it very known.
The whole media provided Alabama with the bulletin board material.
It's not why they won but it absolutely contributed to their intensity.

Every year the Alabama game is the LSU Super Bowl. We have 2 weeks to prepare and go out and typically get our arse kicked. Alabama just flat out owns LSU.

This true. And with no bama every year and 24 team playoff we will get in.

If you would circle the games Lane had to win to show confidence it was Ole Miss(going against your old school), Kentucky(going against the OC that everybody here hated) and Bama(the one team we just haven't managed to beat). Sadly he ended 0-3

I also truly believe the fact they were ranked #5 put them in a spot where they had nothing to lose...and they played like it. CFP basically gave them permission to lose this game and still be selected. When you go in with no pressure, you play easy, free, fast. That's what we saw.

Landry looked disgusted that whole video. It’s hard to watch

That’s what you get when you have paid players. The heart is replaced by the $.

It looked the Ole Miss game again. Both teams wanted it more than LSU.
